And it`s not impossible to overdub the original music and still maintain some of the crowd noise, at least at this low level of sound quality.

@shatterprone If you watch closely, or if you're from Detroit and danced this way, you'll see that it really is in time! check the hard popping at 3:38-4:12 or so. The hard pops hit right on beat! Some dancers wer just playing it real smooth, and you couldn't really tell that they were on beat, but they were!

@mta415 Yes, this is indeed "The Scene", a local Detroit dance show which aired in the 70s and 80s. I grew up watching it religiously, and this clip really brings back memories! "Moonman" aired in DC and Baltimore. I don't think Detroit techno was played on that show, probably a lot of Go-Go though...
