Some Bankais arent suited for a 1 vs 1 fight, maybe they are suited for 1 vs 1000 fights ? who knows.



Also, the hollow mask + bankai is risky to use, it possibly drains their reitsu really fast, and combined with a bankai, which also drains reitsu fast, will shorten the time they can fight.

@CerromeX To answer honestly and truthfully, you could say he is. Aizen stole all of his sanity and reasoning when he remodeled him. Originally, WW was actually the same as any other Arrancar, he could even talk (when he first appeared, he could understand, and even answer Aizen's question about his name), but he was remodeled just to seal Yama's fire away, but since it requires so much power, Aizen converted his whole body to do so, including robbing him of intelligent thought.

@CarpalCrazieman22 I quite agree. Kensei's skill and power is such that even faced with multiple adversaries, he would be able to fight them off effectively. There is also the distinct possibility that Wonderweiss released his sword whilst he was fighting Kensei, then retreated to help Aizen.

Kensei would have probably been busy tending to Mashiro, which would make sense given his personality. He does care for her, even though she annoys him quite frequently.

Kensei lost because he revealed his bankai like the rest of noob captians. Shunsui didnt reveal shit, neither do Yamma or Unohana or Ukitake. Only noob captains like Toshiro Kommamura and Tousen reveal their bankais for no reason and get pwned. Same rule applies for Arrancars who release their zanpaktous when they are winning their fights, and end up losing because they noobish.

@zizun1996 It has nothing to do with Wonderweiss' ability. Yes, she is the only one who can hold a mask for that long, for as long as 15 hours.....BUT NOT DURING COMBAT! She'll run out of the energy needed to do attacks using her mask quickly regardless of her talent as vizard. Kensei tried to warn her!

And by talent, I mean she has no psychological hate for hollows or much of anything. Ichigo was the worst Vizard before his resolve strengthened cause he hated hollows more then any vizard.

I don't think Kensei lost! I think they were goin head to head for awhile, then when Yama started doin his thing, Wonderweiss stopped and headed over to Yama and released. Kensei didn't pursue because of the fire.
