    2.1ghz T8100 intel centrino

    4gb ram ddr2

    320gb hard drive

    the wifi a/b/g/n

    1200 by 800

  • 4 GB ram?!!

But only 50 GB hard drive?

  • mines gonna have a 320gb hard drive

  • i have the same laptop same design

  • I have the same laptop/pattern, I think they're wonderful!

    (:

  • does it come with Microsoft Office or do you have to but it sepeartly

  • You have to buy it separately.

  • I kinda liked how I did it actually.

  • do you know if they work for games well do they work well for games

  • fairly well, but dell builds its xps line for heavy gamers. dtocomputers sells both. -Best, Dan, DTO computers

  • how long does the battery last??

  • about 6 hours.

  • did you get the 6 cell or the 9 cell battery

  • Thats the 6 cell

Cause the 9 cell is makes the laptop larger

  • dell is makeing a comeback I love mine most bank for the buck relieable & simple

  • I agree completely! Dan, DTO Computers

  • nice, you can read the website lol.

  • do the strips make it go faster?

lol no but i ordered an xps 1530 and i cant wait till i get it

  • The stripes speed it up like you wouldn't believe! SMMMMMMMOKIN!

    LOL!

    That 1530 rocks too!

  • Just as a general question, will Intel® Pro Wireless 3945 802.11a/b/g Mini-Card - Europe - Core 2 Duo Processors, wireless connectivitiy work in Canada, since it was purchased from UK.

Also, can 6-cell 56WHr Li-Ion primary battery laptop purchased from UK be charged in Canada with a different adapter as Canada is 120V and UKs is 210V.

  • I believe it will work in Canada fine.

I also believe the compatibility of the battery is fine.

I have not tested these points, this is just based on general experience.

  • I have bought one dell 1525, 2,1 ghz 3M 4 gb ram , 6 cell batery, SB audigy advanced (really i dont know what is this lol), intel next gen N , 160 gb HD 7200 rpm, webcam 2mb , bluetooth and finally vista home premion.

Is this a good choice? Could you recomend me this? thx a lot , nice video

  • Yes, this is a fine choice. You should buy from me next time though. LOL! =D

    Best, Dan

  • i might get one of those for graduation with 2gb of Memory and a 250gb HDD

  • Awesome-- good choice!

  • hmm, is 3GB of RAM enough

    for it to be fast?

  • Yeah, and Vista 32-bit won't read more than 3.49 GB or RAM/video memory combined. And the inspirons only come with 32-bit OS.

    Best, Dan

  • whats the power connector for?

is it like erm to charge your battery?

    TB

    tanx

  • Yes, to charge the battery.

  • I saw the Laptop on the Dell-Homepage, i just configured, I saw, that when you choose 4 GB RAM, they don't give you a 64-Bit Version of Vista, but you have to take 64-Bit with 4 GB RAM, so what the hell?!

  • Yeah, that's pretty lame. Vista 32-bit can only read 3GB, not 4GB. I bethca a patch comes out from MS on this as it's stupid.

HP does sell 64-bit and I can sell those as well. Dell only sells 64-bit of a few machines, Latitudes and such. Best, Dan

  • its cheaper off the dell website! either u need 2 lower prices or im buying one off the dell website!!!! No-offense though.

  • how do u connect the ac adapter to the power chord? email me ur anser plz

  • You just plug it in. It's simple.

  • Doesn't it come with a built in remote control on the side of the laptop? Above the wireless controls?

  • What I dont Like on this model is the viga card ,there in no nvidia 8600 option or nvidia 8400 only the intel 3100x is availble its not good in games very bad dont buy if you need Game laptop

  • I agree. The Dell 1720 is a better choice for gamers. The XPS ones even better, though those get expensive.

  • The page loading is down to your ISP provider not your laptop. Software loading etc is your laptop....

  • Right, thanks.

  • Any plans to do custom annodising on the xps m1530? Also would you ship to the u.k.? Thanks

  • No plans of this that I'm aware of. I do ship to UK. Best, Dan
