  • no topping?

  • I am a hand toss man for life. Total east coaster for my pies. BUT!, Lou Malnati's is the best in Chicago HANDS DOWN!. Fuck Gino's east. Overrated garbage!

  • @missrobertha1 Deep dish is mostly food for curious tourists, most people in the Chicago area prefer Chicago style thin crust.

  • @Hipcubbiesfan80 i lived there for a couple years with a roommate that grew up in chicago... we loved chicago thin crust, but we had to have deep dish once a month.

i think its a pretty even mix for preference.

  • Also this fuckin music is annoying as hell

  • I don't like it. I've tried it its just not for me

  • @missrobertha1 Okay, it is not for everyone. At least you tried it.

  • @missrobertha1 chicago style pizza...the best. conversation over.

  • i live in northbrook!

  • @missrobertha1 I've lived in New York before and currently live in Chicago. I've tried pizza from all over each place and can honestly say you can't compare the two. Apples and oranges.

  • @missrobertha1 Don't knock deep dish pizza until you try it. You can order it online. Try it first then talk.

  • Yeah! Lou Malnati's is the best!

  • it's either italian style thin crust or deep dish chicago style or it ain't a f#@*ing pizza

  • Chicago makes the best Pizza.

  • They should use whole-wheat crust or at least a 75-25% mixture

  • That's some pretty gnarly looking oil cake.

  • Brooklyn says you're doing it wrong.

  • @gofbomburself what is brooklyn pizza like?

  • i'd seriously love to have deep dish pizza since i've never tried it

but theres no deep dish pizza available where i live at all :(

ps. i live in hong kong

  • @Cube3Productions i wanna try it too...but theres no place here either

  • @nolanjuice84 You can try deep dish pizza. They will deliver. Go to the tasteofchicago website to order lou malnatti deep dish. Just tell me how you like it when you try it?

  • @MrSool15 will they deliver it in the mail or something?

  • @nolanjuice84 Yes they will. I just tried Lou Malnattis today and I must say the Deep Dish was a 4. It was so sloppy. The thin crust was a 7. I prefer Giordano Deep Dish. It is much better! You should try it you might like it. Giordano is the best Deep Dish in Chicago. Go to the tastes of chicago website and order.

  • @MrSool15 Interesting take.

  • @Cube3Productions

  • @Cube3Productions

  • The pizza took the girl's breath away, I need her.

  • NY pizza is the second best

  • New York Pizza = the best

  • america is the best.

  • i have never tasted same good pizza as in my village

  • @JxT1957 hahahahhahahh

  • this is a disgrace for the real italian pizza from napoli : /

  • @MrNedmus Well it's not written in stone how pizza should be. America only took the pizza farther. Disgrace or not, most people enjoy American styles of pizza.

  • I'm italian and i live in italy, but i lived in USA for a couple of years, and i gotta say, that this kind of pizza is a great idea, and i liked it a lot almost everytime i had occasion to eat one.

BUT you gotta try that with some real italian Buffalo mozzarella cheese, and olive oil from sicily: is something evene beyond tasty

  • @TheRealAxelFury Dude, you are totally awesome for saying something like this. Deep dish is excellent and trying with olive oil from sicily and Italian buffalo mozzarella makes my mouth water. Chicago deep dish is the best cuz it has real ingredients. Real tomatoes, real cheese, real meat, real spices. Everything you could ask for.

  • What sort of cheese is that?

    I really wanna make this..

  • Thats rather a Quiche than a pizza!

  • Are those C-cups on the chest of the madam?

  • @MyAccount4Trolling Dude ive seen plenty of fat people from NYC, kill the nonsense.

  • Brooklyn Style - A cracker with some cheese sprinkled on top.

    St. Louis Style - Cardboard

California Style - Not real pizza

Midwest Style - Bread with some sausage on top

Chicago Style - Filling, great tasting, and unique. Best pizza on earth.

  • Chicago style pizza = Bread with garbage on top.

  • @Blackdragonboy789 You should try deep dish pizza before criticising it. You can try deep dish pizza. They will deliver. Go to the tasteofchicago website to order lou malnatti deep dish.

  • 7 people have no taste buds

  • Lou Malnati's is so amazing... I'm so hungry now!! Sorry New York, but we OWN your pizza.

  • Heh heh, still don't tell you how to make that delicious dough! Now that's, what I need to know.

  • Best. Pizza. Ever!!!!

  • must be like having a pizza parmigianna

  • I'm born and raised in the Chicago area. My gf is from New Jersey, near NYC. Her family is 100% Italian, straight off the boat, most of them can't speak english - only italian. They live in Jersey/New York area. There's a huge Italian community in the Jersey/New York area, & they created the stereotypical Mafia New York italian scene - w/ "New York Style Pizza." My gf and I live in chicago, her italian family comes to visit for the 1st time. THEY ALL SAY LOU'S IS THE BEST PIZZA THEY'VE EVER HAD.

  • @meteora8423 They're just being nice to you because you are dating their fat, ugly bearded daughter.

  • Absolutely disgraceful pizza. Obviously Chicago has lost the plot. I consider this a tomato cake, not pizza.

  • @truantw16 Amen. I saw this place on a TV show about pizza and I was looking forward to trying it when I moved out here to chicago. It was crap. The sausage had the worst texture and the "crust" had a sour taste. The tomatoes were good quality but that's the only positive about the experience.

  • @MuddyGunz You defiantly have not had good Chicago pizza. The saying that is like stating that chicken is greasy, disgusting, and nasty when you've only tried it from KFC.

  • Why all the arguing? New York Style pizza is great and so is Chicago deep dish. I don't see why it always has to be a one is better than the other argument.

  • New York style pizza = pita bread with sauce and cheese on top

  • @aegisforex You've never been to New York. Either that or you went to all the wrong places.

  • thast not pizza its like friggin tomato sauce with bread, wheres the meats and veggies son

  • Just wondering, what's the name of that song a the beginning?

  • Make me one ho!!

  • Deep dish isn't pizza. East Coaster all the way here when it comes to my pies. Hand toss baby! But I have heard really great things about Lou's. But even if I went their I would get hand toss. I hate deep dish no matter where it's from. If I wanted all that bread, I'd just order a philly cheese steak.

  • Typical American Food a fucking "FAT BOMB" hahahah ;D

  • @TheHoRiZoN89 what?

  • thats not pizza, its a casserole

  • @needprotein That's right I agree. I like my pizza east coast style.

  • awesome pies

  • FUCK CHIGACO AND THEIR DEEP DISH PIZZA!

  • @agentbl lol

  • @riverscollide What the hell are you laughing at?

  • @agentbl Why are you watching this video then? Moron..

  • @agentbl

    Jealousy much?

    :D

  • @Sly2314 Are you insane? Why the hell would I need to be jealous of pizza that looks like someone shitted in it?

  • gross

  • I saw them on food network...it is a matter of taste I bet lou's pizza rocks but I am thin crust for life,,,

  • @lockenjr They make good thin crust pizza also. I grew up eating Lou Malnati pizza as well as Italian Beef sandwiches from various joints like Budackis, Edens, and Kings Famous Gyros.

  • @lockenjr It doesn't rock. It sucks.

  • hello, wath a name or title of opening music?

    please answer. thank you.

  • hello, wath a name or title of opening music?

    please answer. thank you

  • This place makes the best pizza I've ever had in my life. I actually drove from Minneapolis to Chicago one time just to get one of their pizzas. If you ever go to Chicago you should try one of these masterpieces. There is nothing even close to this in Minnesota.

  • oh man...i had malnatis last night, and it was EVERYTHING i thought it could be!

  • a fork and knife to eat a deep dish its like drinking whine at the baseball park just wrong

  • i'v eaten there befor and ther deep dish pizza is sooooooo goood! bada-bing bada-boom!

  • did she barf after eating it?

  • It's a pizza, it's a pizza, mamamia, pizza PIE!! I need that downloaded. NOW!

  • The only pizza that matters.

  • I ordered Lou's pizzas online 6 for $100......the veggies are the best. I live in Jersey and we have really good pizza......Lou's pies deserve a try!!!

  • Lou's makes a "low carb" pizza that has a sausage crust pizza that kicks ass too! Living away from Chicago now, miss ya Lou!

  • Lou's is great pizza!

  • wow that looks like the worst pizza ever

  • in florida they have bubble gum as a topping for pizza

  • wHERE'S THE BEEF?

  • I honestly would be happy to have a big bowl of Lou's tomato sauce. That sauce is awesome.

  • just had some

  • Comment removed

  • Pizzaria DUE is the BEST Deep DISH EVER, i had em all

  • @TheMAGOKAY NY pizza is old cheese and cold toppings on a piece of oversized cardboard...ive eaten NYC pizza and it is NOTHING like the flavor and texture of a true deep dish Chicago pizza...don't defame Chicago like that...that's like the same idiots who say California has better pizza....

  • Lou Malnati's Pies are Chicago. If you go to Chi Town, you gotta get a deep dish from Lou's - plain and simple. You won't forget it.

  • @ugotbawlz couldn't have said it any better

  • no meat?

  • ELK GROVE is the original LOU's

  • My mouth just turned into water!

  • Ugh. I got suckered into paying $80 for one of those Malnatis packages. What a huge disappointment. The pizzas were small and very light. There was nothing deep about the,. They tasted "ok." Shameful. No way was the pack worth anywhere NEAR the price. Will never buy again.

  • I love Lou Malnatti's~

We have a smaller one just 2/3 minutes from my house. So good~

  • Real Apizza comes from New Haven

  • I cannot thank Chicago enough for this culinary gift to us.

I don't like any form or derivation of Italian cuisine very much, but deep dish ranks as one of my favorite meals of all time!

I really think deep dish represents the true American style pizza!

  • Deep Dish is the best thing on Earth, if you haven't eaten @ Lou Malnati's, you haven't ever experienced pizza

  • @tobyrulez7 what about pizza hut

  • Damn good pizza. I could be full and still eat. The crust on a lou malnattis slice is so good.

  • Malnati's! Another reason everyone should visit Illinois!

  • Man, that's all it takes to make a Chicago-style pie? Dead easy!! Why the heck does Uno's charge $20?

  • I don't know. I do know that Uno's food is overpriced and mediocre.

I have ZERO culinary training and I can make better pizza than Uno's.

  • no one makes better pizza than uno's.

  • I drove 2 hours to the closest Uno's location in California, which is in San Diego, CA and I was absolutley not disappointed!!! It was so good, my husband and I got the pepperoni deep dish.... I wanna go back for more... but it's so far!!!!

  • it's real pizza?

what do you eat in usa? :S

  • i live in southern california where there are a lot of mexicans so i eat tacos and burritos they dont make pizza like that near me

  • i live in italy and i have never see a pizza like it..

    it's like a cake...

  • It's Chicago-style, like the title of the video says.

  • "Chicago Deep Dish" pizza is very different in that the dough is rich, flakey, and buttery and the ingredients are layered. Because of the length of time it takes to bake it, all the ingredients used are uncooked (eg: tomatoes, meat, aromatics, vegetables, everything) with the intent that the oven will cook them.

It actually has more in common with lasagna than traditional pizza as it often comes layered.

There are many people in America who do not see "Chicago Deep Dish" as pizza.

  • would i be able to make one of these bad boys in a cast iron skillet?

  • oh wait, cake pan. of course...

  • Anything oven-safe should be able to handle it. Cast-iron may actually be ideal :)

  • Art of Pizza is one of the best.

  • I was born in the New York Metro area and I grew up around great Pizza. After visiting Loyola University for an Open House, I went to a local deep dish pizzeria in Chicago. I WAS IN HEAVEN!!!!!!

  • deep dish is the way to go

  • way to go dan

  • man go to any lou malnatis and dan is the only non latino worker that knows how to make pizza.

  • wooooo

  • Yum!

  • I live in Miami now, but I've been going to lou's ever since they opened in Elk Grove Village back in 1972. Now I order 800-lou-to-go. Thanks for the memories.
