  • You really have brought us all together on this one, John. It's really exciting to have been a part of it... Just one little thing:

That John and Yoko Bed in for peace happened in Montreal, not Amsterdam :)

  • Montreal, you are darned right it did :) It must be all the rum that's got me fried lol

  • John, I love your community mindedness and your passion for communication. You are a pillar of the YouTube community!

  • This is MY tube.

    This is OUR tube.

    This is YOURTubeAdvocate.

    We WILL Be Heard.

  • your welcome =D

    *subscribes to 21stcenturycat*

it is really cool seeing all the replies

  • It is cool indeed, thanks again Bean this has been a blast. Now it's mad crazy editing time.

  • I like watching you on pain meds

  • Ah but what great feeling pain meds. Happy New Year Kevin :)

  • That 21stCenturyCat is a funny guy but for some reason YouTube won't let me subscribe to him... ;)

Great vid John, glad you enjoyed the response :)

  • Yeah, I hear John Reagan has the same problem subbing to himself ;)

That response made my whole collab worth it. Thanks for allowing me to upload :)

  • Damn it, I didn't make it.

  • Uh Oh...I don't have a proper toaster..LOL! Thanks for the laugh! Blessings, Grams

  • your annual collabathons are a You Tube institution John - can't wait to see what you come up with nezt year - I see Ran has already made a suggestion!

loved Steve's video - thanks for reminding me I wanted to have another look!

  • Steve's video can be watched over and over :)

Thanks Lesley for those words and I hope that I can keep this fun alive year after year. Your response kicked some serious ass!

  • 21stCenturyCat is Quality

  • Always and forever :)

  • Getting to know each other is the best part of YouTubing ... you make new friends (also finding new idiots to block of course but not as much as friends) ... you learn new technics and Hollywood came so much closer to our desktops than ever before. We're now behind the scenes and can use some tricks we saw in movies.

    21stCenturyCat rocks ... I subscribed just a few days ago ;o)

Ranblv's suggestion for "Show me your car" sounds like an awesome idea ;o)

  • It's true how green screens, tripods, lighting, cameras, etc. have transported that Hollywood feel into our homes. Not only that Sven, there's so much better quality in video making since 2005/06 here. People are getting very serious about this, almost making short films with every vlog. Competition is tough, but I love it! ;)

  • that's really true John ... people are getting more serious about the videos and trying out more and more tricks. At least some are doing. Also I notice people don't change anything at all, hehe ;o)

  • The Bed-In, was the like concert i didnt go to and will always regret! It was so cool! Loved Cat's reponse, he is so well delivered! Cheers to you! (coffee)

  • That's beautiful Cookz! Cheers :)

  • Thirty bucks for a beer? WOW!

Fun getting to see clips of the bed-in. I was still getting to know YouTube and remember watching a bunch of those responses very intently.

And Cat's videos are always kick-ass. But, yep, his non-response to you was among his best!

    ...gotta get my toaster ready...

  • A beer with one hell of a 'kick' lol

Thanks for enjoying those clips. I had no idea that bed-in would take off in any way and it must have struck a cord in people. So many are still on YouTube from that time.

And special thanks for sitting through an 8 minute video! Toasters out buddy :)

  • this has been great! I am getting to know others around the world and it is awesome!

  • I was talking to friends on the phone about your comment and this is precisely what gives me tremendous joy :)

  • It's wonderful the way we can connect nowadays... is it not?

  • None of us alive today have ever seen anything like this :) We live in good times where the world is getting smaller. It's wonderful.

  • I am amazed you haven't done "show me your car" yet :-)

  • This is an excellent idea, considering the passion I have for automobiles :) Thanks!

  • And I want some of that rum! lol x

  • Love It! I faved that video from 21st century Cat, proof that he can be funny even without Mr. Funny!

I've been watching a few of the desktop responses, and it really is interesting! Looking forward to the final product!

This is your yearly 'getting to know each other' party, a youtube tradition I hope never ends!

    Love you x

  • Don't let Minniver see this comment ;) It's one hell of a party that I hope never ends too. Here's to 2009 and you know I'm saving that bottle for you babe. x

  • John, your vids are getting better and better. I just love them. I mean, there is no single boring second in there or such...

Man, this is some unique style! Damn!

    Also great work, 21stcenturycat!

  • Tomi it's gotta be the feedback from people like you and all those responses that keep me feeling purpose and enjoyment here. Can't tell you how grateful I am for this comment :)

  • I thought 21stCenturyCat's videos was pants.

Not really, it was pretty frickin' fabulous. :)

Happy New Year John Reagan, may it be spectacular!

  • ahahhahha funny!

    Cheers!

  • It's nice to know you've had a great response again.

The JohnReagan collab is almost becoming a Christmas tradition.

Steve's video was very funny & was just as good second time around :)

  • maybe in 2010 we could do a drink a bottle of brugal challenge john.

  • Now that's what I'm saying!

  • A scrawny kid with a commodore 64, I started with that same computer, also the dragon32, amstrad cpc464 also a sinlclai zx81 and sinclair spectrum, oh and a acorn pc.

  • Paul we started the revolution early. I used to connect with a 1500 baud modem to a provider called Compuserve or would dial direct to people's home BBS systems. They'd publish a book with numbers. Encyclopedias, news, weather, and you could program your own stuff. Loved those times.

My brother actually ran a business transmitting files with one in '83. Versatile system.

You had some computers there that are now classics. Cheers!

  • Cheers, John! (And no, I didn't open the shiny vodka-bottle *g*)

And how awesome is that video!!

  • Cheers Kerstin! Tsk .. tsk .. you should have opened up that bottle.

These guys are great, always coming up with incredible humor :)

  • dOOd!!!!

  • DOOD(ette)!!!

    hai Cav!

  • As soon as you made that comment *poof* it's gone lol. I was holding out through the growing pains to make sure I had that Nixon receding hairline but ran out of patience. Am I obsessed much? lol

  • Much... LOL...

  • That was one of my favorites. Hilarious, insane and completely in keeping with Cat! Was fun to watch again today - thanks!
