  • I love how baby goats have this indomitable urge to climb things.

  • Do you have any Nubians. I have a year and a few months old nubian wether and an about 7 month old doe that's 75% Nubian and 25% Boer acording to the breeder we got her from. I also have 2 other does: one is about 4 months old and the other is about the same age as my wether. We think they're mostly nubian too. I know i'm rambling. =P I just love goats and love talking about my babies. P.S CUTE kids!!!

  • Aww..i am looking forward to kids next spring. I am going to breed for the first time..I love my two obies!

  • Aww they're so cute ^.^

We have fainting/pygmy goats. It's so hot out that our new babies don't really do anything yet, but they're still freakin' cute XD

  • if i get a goat does it have to get shots??? im not going to be showing it its just to have

  • Well first of all you really can't have just one goat, you need to have at least 2 of them or another animal (like a horse) that they can bond with. Other wise it will bleat constantly and be lonely.

As far as shots it really depends...

If you will be keeping goats closed pen indoors with little room to roam, it will probably need more shots to protect against illness, and less so if its out in a pasture roaming about

  • well i have 2 horses that r very friendly and would love the goat and it would be outside all the time and come in at night.....

  • That's good, What breed of goat do you want to get?

  • well we are looking for a Nigerian Dwarf or anything else that is a smaller goat ....we would like one really soon and we were getting one from my friends goat but turns out she's not pregnant just fat lol

  • they're beautiful

  • Do Oberhasli usually have twins? All the Oberhasli I've ever seen have either singles or twins. Nice kids by the way! :)

  • It isn't a breed thing, correct feeding will give you more kids. Our herd has twins most time but triplets and quads are quite common. 10% is genetic, the other 90% is the way you care for them.

  • awh they r so cute i use to have one like that

  • Look at there tails going back and forth they remind me of little wind up toys.

  • They r soooooooo cute i want a baby goat because i want to take care of them!!!

  • thanks i was just wondering about that cause my dad had goats they had a fluke sterile set of twin does

  • if i have 2 doe twins are they steril? unbreedable?

  • I don't see any reason why they would be sterile simply because they are twins

  • No. The correct term would be freemartins. It ocures some times in polled to polled breedings. If twins were freemartins, we wouldn't have many goats. ;)

  • beautiful baby oberhaslis. i remember when my guys were this big..oh, what i'd give to have another baby goat!!

  • mit wem

  • They are so cute

  • OMG I LOVE GOATS my daughter wants one soo bad but we have noe room to keep one :(

  • I adore goats. I own two. One is sick right now with polio:(

  • I'm so sorry to hear that is it po;io insepalasia give him potasium shots.

  • No wonder Oberhaslis grow up to be so big; look at the legs on those two cuties!

  • OOOHH! so cute ^^
