@DarkX64 it's the "power of wolf" relic, when you obtain it just press down-forward in wolf form and you will dash, you can keep running if you hold forward though.

think the story goes that the programmers were amatuers just starting out with syphony of the night, although its a master piece since they weren't experienced they had the game difficulty to easy, which is why you could blow past the game fast

I never understood what the point of turning into a wolf was. The bat lets you fly, and you get various attacks in bat form so you're no defenseless. Mist form makes you invincible, and you can pass through doors. Wolf lets you bark. That's it.

Well, there is that super speed thing that only the wolf can do, as demonstrated in the above video. Too bad there are hardly any areas where running that fast would be worth it and even in those areas, turning into the bat and shooting yourself forward would probably be much easier..

Also, I think the wolf can swim in water. Or do something in it.

In my opinion, the easiest boss in any castlevania game is Dracula from Simon's Quest. All you have to do is throw that fire thing several times and he is down quickly.

Well that's just the holy water trick. But with the fire bomb which is essentially the same thing as holy water in CV1.

In Castlevania 1 and 2 (not so much Castlevania 3) you can use that on almost all of the bosses- including to an extent Dracula's second form in CV1.

In fact the English language manual for Simon's Quest even suggests you use this trick on death! Lol. It is kinda weird that they swapped the final boss style to that of death (throwing sickles around while teleporting) though.

Yes this fight was awesome I should try that I usually use the holy water one and kill in about 10 seconds I love SOTN but some of the bosses in the Reverse Castle sucked so hard which made it sad because most of the enemies were tough as shit until you leveled up
