Thank for this video.My mother is on synthroid . I lost my dad last year due to medical misdiagnosis.They said he had pancreatic cancer after they removed his pancreas ,spleen and gallblader.They said oops it's not cancer.They didn't know what it was.Due to this radical procedure he had a massive stroke and became a full blown diabetic on 20 pills and insulin 3 times a day.I am so sorry I feel your frustation and pain.The health care system is a nightmare in this nation.

Thank you so much for this informative video and for your research. Pharmaceutical companies pay our government billions per year in lobbying and through their funding, these companies also control what is taught at medical schools -- modern conventional doctors are not much more than drug pushers. I'm sorry to hear of your mother's suffering and she is blessed to have a daughter like you.

@aquamarine0023 Today's "health care" system is enough to turn your stomache. It has nothing to do with health. We're just dolllar signs to these pill pushers. I notice also how many people pop the pills, which makes it just as bad. Without willing pill popper, you couldn't have pill pushers. People need to stop looking to doctors as Gods and take charge of their health by taking of themself for preventative reasons. The best doctor in the world cannot save a person from themself

@aquamarine0023 That is aweful about your dad. My God. That is unreal. I just don't know what to say! My mom seems to have had a stroke after being on 14 meds in a day, but everybody seems to want to pretend otherwise. Also after the meds, she started shaking with her hands like Parkinson's Disease. Before all those pharma pills she had memory problems, but after taking those she could not even figure out how to string a sentence together or put on gloves and her hat. It is so pityful.

Un f ing believable! The same doctor who prescribed synthroid to me also prescribed a topical antibiotic cream for my son that ended up bleaching his skin. Genocidle Doctors!!

@cindernation12 When I was talking with nurses when trying to get my mom off all those chemical meds, I met two who had their children on Synthroid! Kids on thyroid meds? WTF Both nurses had no clue to the dangers of the med and even worse, NOBODY is trying to get to the root of why a child would have a thyroid problem! *slapping forehead* So, this is your "health care" provider folks. The doctors and nurses aren't even aware of what is in the meds and the dangers. Pill poppers.

@cindernation12 Ironically Mom first taught me about the connection with aluminum and alzheimers 20 years ago and she phased out all of her aluminum pots and pans. Too bad her doctor only ended up prescribing her "medicine" that actually contains aluminum. Get this, her doctor had never even heard about it and called the maker of the pill who admitted it! But yet, he refused to take her off the pill saying he didn't think it was "that bad". What?! So, I had to fire. Madness.

@cindernation12 Did you know the doctors get kick backs and incentives and so they prescribe meds people don't even need?! They have stock in the meds and are offered trips to exotic places for prescribing as much as they can. This is a total conflict of interest. Shocking. People are nothing but cash cows. I know of a guy who confronted his doctor about having stock in the med and his doctor fired him! Yup. The doctor didn't want the patient blowing the whistle to other patients

I took synthroid for less than two years in the late 90's. My doctor said it would help me lose the extra weight I was gaining because I was not overeating yet still gaining weight. It was a chemical imbalance. I stopped taking it when I could not afford it. I noticed I lost weight through excercise and didn't need them after all My mother began taking them in the mid 90's and still takes them today. SHE HAS ALZHEIMER'S disease!! She was diagnosed in 2004 but began showing symptoms in 2001.

@cindernation12 I was upset mom continued to take Synthroid after she commented on it messing with her mind. I fought with her about this around 6 years ago when she started taking it. But, she looked to the Doctor as if he were a God who knew what she needed instead of trusting her own instincts. I was also upset to learn it was contraindicated with a med she takes called Premarin, which is dangerous to take together! Her new Dr. was shocked to see her dose of Synthroid so high.

Just buried my mother and I am of the same mind that quite possibly the long-term use of synthroid created Alzheimer's in my mother then the physicians started all kinds of other mind altering medications. It is madness. Hopefully the medical community will soon awaken and look into the Alzheimer's gateway drug synthroid. I hope you can get your Mom out of the home, start removing her meds starting with synthroid and back onto a healthy diet. Good luck!

@Pipkin191 I am so sorry to hear about your Mother. I agree the "health care" industry is sheer madness. I was very disappointed to find myself to be more informed than her "doctor". Even worse, was seeing how it was the old school hostile boy's club afraid of new information. I also learned they get kick backs, have stock in these meds and are offered incentives for prescribing as much as they can. Therefore, they push popping pills even when a person doesn't need it. Shocking and sadly true.

It seems someone said they did far better on that, but then something happened...and the company changed their formula or so they said. Have you heard anything about that? The person was really upset about it saying they did so much research to find something natural only to have the company make some changes. It would be nice to be guaranteed consistency, you know?
