I ask the same question when I questioned Google about how ad words work,because my new web site had over 2,000 hits just from other sources & I was told that's a part of advertising? which made me think he really didn't know what to say? so he put me with another person and I am still looking for a way to advertise my online auction and I don't care if I get 50 hits if they buy something? lol

Maybe I'm a bit overworried but I signed up for adwords and I cannot find any link to it, so I'm not really sure what I have signed up for, if anything at all. Actually my idea was to sign up for Google Adsense which I have done also.

If you're converting visitors at a rate of 0.5% you either aren't targeting your audience very well, or you're site sucks.

Yeah, I have seen a couple of videos from this guy and he clearly has some sort of self-promoting agenda, because his data is totally out there. 1000$ per conversion is simply insane. I would burn my adwords account to the ground if I ever managed a site that converted that badly.

who pays 1,000? if you pay 1.00 for ad words and get 1000 hits you owe Google $ 1,000 and if no one buys cause you are a new website other then a hit you get nothing.

Ahh, just like Google, finding ways to earn people money making Google themselves have another alternative path to rise there earnings. Google is ranked almost the definition of "rich" and NOW tries to just get richer by setting up little businesses with people, like Google ads to drive people in circles while Google is the one that's really making any profit. Well I spend 25 pounds on google adwords a day and I get 500 to 700 pound a day sale, I make 350 to 400 pounds a day clear profit then I put back 25 pounds for the next day, you got to know how to use google adwords and how to find the right market, example if you was looking for toyota car parts you would type that in the search and as a buyer you would find what your looking for.
