This is the song that will be played in a movie a hundred years from now in the scene documenting the rise of the one world government following the collapse of the economies of the west in the 2nd decade of the 21st century. The police state moves in, the carbon taxes are imposed and camps set up.... all the while the dialogue in this scene will be silent and all you can hear is this music.....
strange! I was just thinking how the alien scenes at end of AI would work so well with this song when i stumbled across this. I suppose the official radiohead must have reminded me (and evidently others) of it.
Hmm. Nice alignment, especially at the end, of words and images. For one to go on to criticize over-adulation and untested expectation of Hohenzoller protection provident of the body politic for the body politic by the body politic would exceed my expectation of the characters remaining.
My friend and I were discussing King of Limbs and got on the subject of Phil Selway's awesomeness, and I had to listen to this. The ride cymbal in this song is perfect
youve blown me away with this. its pretty amazing how this sound and this video go together this well. it makes me wander, sure i sit here, but in my mind...im so far...i wish everyone who reads this a good time here. we are all under the same sun.
I agree that Kubrik's single minded stark clarity of vision would have produced something truly mesmerizing. But I know Spielberg is the only other person he trusted with this film, and coming from Kubrik that is high praise indeed. Furthermore, can we think of anyone other than Spielberg back when this was made that might have done Kubrik's vision some justice?
i dont think anyone copied anyone, i think its a coincidence. but you never know i guess.
Anyway, A.I. is an underrated film in my opinion, but i wish kubrick was alive to do it, it would of been less "speilburg magical". Good job on creating this video though, its great
Wow! Great song for a magnificent film :-)

Kubrick made another film of his own about the extinction of our species - two if you count "2001" - was he a misanthrope?

I agree, I think it's underrated as well [I watched the movie recently]. I wonder what it would have been like in the hands of Kubrick?

I miss Kubrick too. The music is very well done.

wow spielberg copied a whole lot from radioheads video!
Chris112389 3 years ago
controversial question. both spielberg's film and amnesiac were created in 2001, difficult to tell who is the thief)
but i definitely agree with you ;)

maybe it is a official music video for A.I?
SJ363 3 years ago
@YevhenOrlov
Don't the movie's exposition state the source of the music? I thought Spielberg gave credit appropriately.
