I think the kid freaked out because he was in violation of parole and murder suspect, he shot at cops to avoid capture, when the cops returned fire they hit him in the leg, he then squeezed the trigger as a muscle jerk reaction and shot himself.

I pulled the two other Marines out and got medically discharged. I then went Colorado School of Trades for Gunsmithing and have workout Aurora since then. Looking at the facts; Harding was a felon who had reason to avoid capture at all cost, gunshot residue was on his right hand, gun was found, the medical report showed the bullet entered in the front of his neck and went up into his head, but the cops were behind him. You ignore all these facts, but claiming you were a cop?

I've seen idiots put 9 mm rounds in a.40 cal magazine cause it will hold more then ten rounds .380 is same diameter but shorter the extractor does hold these rounds in place otherwise the bullet and case would fall out the barrel. His theory will be washed in no time

@clyons29 A .380 Cal bullet looks nothing like a .40 Cal hollow point. Before you jump on the conspiracy theory hate cops train look at the facts. By 19 yrs old, Harding was a convicted felon who was also a suspect in a murder. He had motive to avoid capture at all cost. The bullet that killed Harding entered in the front of his neck and went at an upward angle into his head, but he had his back turned to the cops running away from them.

It is exactly the extractor that holds it in place and is as simple as loading a glock 9 mm clip with .380 ammo inserting the clip loading the round removing the clip and placing a standard magazine of .40 cal ammo . The round will fire casing will neckout and not cycle the weapon you get a pop sound kinda like a subsonic ammo it leaves the weapon with deadly accuracy . It's plausible not impossible.and alot more simpler a proven mistake that occurs at shooting ranges when shooting multiple sty

The rim of a .380 cartridge is significantly smaller than a .40, where the extractor wouldn’t hold it into place, causing the cartridge to be logged in the barrel after it fired. A .380 will not shoot with deadly accuracy out of a .40, because the round is too small to grip the rifling in a .40 barrel to give the bullet its spin.

Listen to audio from shot spotter of this incident watch the videos. Listen and read to the ever changing story of police. See the cop moving suspect and sticking something in the kids pocket. As he put it, the modifications you'd need to make to fire a .380 through a .40 gun are so onerous it's not worth doing. It's doable, but unlikely. And my source is a trained police sniper with FBI coursework experience -- definitely someone I trust 110%. Still, it's an interesting theory... we'll see!

@clyons29 You’re ignorant to firearms. A .380’s casing is too small to seat in a .40 w/o help. Even if you did get it to fire, the casing would be logged in the barrel because it’s too small for the extractor hook to hold it. A .380’s casing is too small for a .40 mag, where it wouldn’t properly feed into the gun w/o assistance. The cops would have had to remove the mag, eject the .40 in the chamber, manually put in a .380 and somehow shoot someone in their front that has their back to them.

Also, this would create a less stressful relationship between the Black ticketless rider and the police. No more worrying about Blacks having a ticket or not.
