  • Omg, ahaha, great interview. Love Angie

  • We should do a drinking game to that video......rules are simple, take a shot every time the word gay is mentioned :D

  • I find it great that even as a republican she supports gay people because that's one of the main issues when you're a republican :) Even though I really hate everything republican, I wouldn't mind having dinner with her to discuss her points of views :) Be close to your friends but closer to your enemies :D Nah, I love Angie !

  • Her shoes <3

  • im striaght but i watch this show just to see this girl, shes sooo hott

  • @SLMSMA10 What does being straight have anythng to do with Rizzoli & Isles? You do know that both women are straight right? The LGBT community just thinks that they could be a great couple. Not that they actually are. I'm just saying.

  • Yeah, seriously. If you're gay, you should watch Rizzoli and Isles, everyone wants Jane to hook up with Maura, I swear even if you are against same sex relationships, you'd still want Jane to hook up with Maura. xD

  • Gay, gay, gay, gay, gay.

  • Angie is a HOTTIE!!!!

  • Really if you are gay you should watch Rizzoli and Isles if you havent yet. Love Angie!!!

  • It is obvious that many people are ignorant when it comes to political ideology. Constituency takes many forms, so if someone dubs themselves a Democrat or a Republican that doesn't mean they automatically agree with every aspect of their party's ideology. People are opinionated. There are liberal Republicans and conservative Democrats. At the end of the day it's all arbitrary. I <3 Angie Harmon for having a mind of her own!

  • @MannyXj1 amen to that :) very well explained.

  • i am naturally thin.. even thinner than she is.. but am a guy.. sad i know =/

  • She seems so fake. She probably supported Prop 8 and only tolerates gays not necessarily giving us civil rights.

  • Chelesa is just a left wing nut. Whos ratings show that no one watches anyway.

  • My name is Chelsea and I'm a lesbian Republican from Dallas. Plus I'm a HUGE Rizzoli and Isles fan! Sooooo basically this interview made my day. ^_^

  • @cmparten wow that's actually kinda weird lol. what are the odds of that??

  • These women are terrorists on my mind.

It would be funny that they keep farting, if it weren't so fucking sickening.

  • now i think her character never be with Dr. Isles T_T ...

    well, who knows :D

  • but shes gay on the show! oh... wait...

  • omg angie looks GORGEOUS. I am sorry... but what does being a republican have anything to do w/ "a fan of the gays"???! they are not mutually exclusive. what a dumbass comment from chelsea. but boy never knew angie is THIS FUNNY! i love her even more!!

  • whoo hooo Dallas, TX !!!!

  • "And if you're gay you should watch it" Chelsea at her best lol

  • I came here to gawk at Angie Harmon and noticed that ever since chelsea's been after-marketing her face, she looks like she's been crying. harmon married QB jason Seahorn, hasselbeck"s married to QB Matt Hasselbeck and both are Ephants. If you know your history the republican party has pushed the agenda of civil rights, landmark decisions have been passed for the advancement of African-americans, MLK was a republican.Angie harmon has the most beautiful feet, a much more important issue.

  • @mistressofaminer Amen! She's fantastic all around. I think people push the gay/lesbian and republican/democratic stuff too much. We're all Americans before we're anything else. Don't get upset at another person's opinions because they're different than yours. It's ridiculous! Angie is proud of who she is...no problem in that.

  • gayest interview besides R and I itself.

  • I just wanna know why being her being a republican is mentioned so much.Big deal. It's like it's wrong or something,I'm not even republican and I'm saying that.Focus on another part of her, like Chelsea said, her body. someone down below said they have one celebrity lesbian crush...I I certainly do,she's hot,and after having three kids!

  • @JohnnyDeppYo its because that show is a bunch of fucking liberal jackasses and democrats!

that show is stupid, and I hope it get canceled!

  • She is so unbelievably gorgeous...my one celebrity lesbian crush lol

  • I love how she giggles the whole time. Makes me smile. :)

  • she's a republican but loves black ppl and gay ppl. i loooove her! Black power. btw idgaf whether she's a republican or democrat.

  • I don't understand shit about politics, therefore i don't care about them. so i don't care if Angie is a republican or what, I still love her(:

  • Right ON Chelsea! "Wake the F**K up!"

  • lmao this was hilarious. love love love Angie!! :)

  • They were flirting a little..maybe :P I like to think so lmao

  • That was.....to say the least, uncomfortable to watch....I think she had a little too much vodka smh

  • I like her. But unfortunately most republicans are painted with the same brush especially in NY, LA and the rest of the free world. But if there were more republicans like her, people wouldn't hate them so much. It's so weird how politics changes and the zeitgeist conversation changes with it. 10 years ago, republicans weren't that different from democrats. Then 9/11 happened and the country split down the middle. Inadvertently, they got what they wanted - Americans to hate each other.

  • @yngguy4u

This is the most intelligent response I have read so far in reference to politics and our political parties. I cannot recall this type of hosility and anger seething into our political discourse a decade ago. Granted, we can point to many examples in the past of violence or mayhem in American politics (Civil War, Vietnam, etc). It was naive to believe that such inane behavior was in the past. And you're 100% right, Americans basically hate each other now. And for what?

  • @WLegacy30 thanks! I just have this gut feeling that the internal conversation in America might be exactly what our enemies were looking for. These are not stupid people and they have studied us like guinea pigs to know that America had a very long series of successes in the 20th century that led to a sort of blind patriotism. And the way to take advantage of that was to divide the country politically. It's far from instant, but unless we realize what's been done, we're doomed. 50/50 i guess

  • This is weird for me, a Republican that I like?? Going to take time to adjust...

  • @ToastedRose LOL. I Totally Agree! Haha.

  • @ToastedRose more reason to love rizzoli and isles!

  • oh btw, miss lately you are FUGLY, and angie is sexy!

  • @ToastedRose This is weird for me too. You might be a "tolerant" liberal who could actually possibly be tolerant of others views.

  • @docmikeynyc Wow, that's rich. Liberals are the MOST tolerant political sect. We accept and fight for gay rights, we believe in religious freedom (of all kinds, not just Christianity) we support women's rights, which definitely not can be said of any conservative in the political arena right now. Take a look at your own party's actions before you judge ours, yeah?

  • I understand people saying they don't care if shes a republican, and they shouldn't because it is a legitimate political party who have a valid veiw points on some things. However she said she wouldn't mind voting Sarah Palin for president, thats where i draw my respect for her.

  • Thumbs up for every other sentence including the word "gay."

  • @transboyforpride hahaha i love it

  • funny interview, loved it... angie you´re AWEZOME!!!

  • The fact that she's a republican does not stand against her claims of loving gay people; the fact that she supported DOMA does. Don't get me wrong, I really like the show and her work, but you can't claim to be ok with one group and vote their rights away. I don't understand why some straight people think they have the right to decide about our lives, as if we were children.

  • Comment removed

  • "If you're gay, you should watch it!" Durhh. RIZZLES!!

  • Glad to hear she likes the gays :)

  • The "peer pressure" Hollywood puts on people to think like them is amazing. So she's Republican... maybe it's because she is a fiscal conservative, is pro-life, against wasteful government spending. Maybe she's a Ron Paul republican and more libertarian-minded.

Either way, Chelsea reminds us why we shouldn't get our morals from Hollywood. Too many people do, and that's why divorce rates are sky high. Angie is a family woman and puts that first, it doesn't mean she hates gay people.

  • "Gays and Vodka!!!" ..my new line for this summer

  • Ok so all the comments below basically say they hate chelsea handler? Why are you watching this then

  • @SourSugarxoxoxo

Uhh let's think for a minute... maybe because they like Angie??

  • @bobshenix Right. and im sure theres a million other interviews shes in that wont "annoy" them

  • That sounds about right. Since they like Angie, they dislike the way Chelsea puts her own guest on the defensive based solely on her being Republican... the ironic part is that Chelsea is the one stereotyping here!

Why would other interviews annoy them?? Most interviewers don't judge ppl based solely on political party, Earth to Chelsea-- there are A LOT of issues aside from gay marriage!! Right, so let's make gay marriage the only issue when we are being bled dry overseas. Ahh Hollywood...

  • @bobshenix That could possibly be the reason they don't like her. The point is this is just supposed to be a fun show and a fun interview , yes chelsea makes fun of people but we have to remember she is a comedian.

  • @SourSugarxoxoxo

Fair enough. I don't mean to get all up on Chelsea but i just hate when interviewers get political without even being provoked. it's not fair to the person being interviewed because they did not go on the show to talk politics.... they'd go on CNN, Fox, etc. for that!

  • @bobshenix Yah, i see what your saying now. She didnt have to mention her being a republican. Usually in other interviews ive seen chelsea hasn't.

  • hi my name is chelsea handler, i use the same format on all my shows!

celebrity guests who are pumping their new book, show, album.....i sit them down, ask them how they are doing before quickly telling them how much i dont care, ask them some more questions while i shamelessly plug their newest show, movie, etc then i act like i am going to give them some compliments but then i dis them instead! wow chelsea ur so original, i never saw it coming...wait i saw in the first twenty shows you did!

  • Everything is fine..except that Chelsea Handler is such a fucking pig and positively the worst interviewer in TV history. The fact that she is loved by millions is only a testament to the dumbing down of American TV.

  • ME ENCANTAAAAA ANGIEE!!!

  • Angie - "I love gay people. Gay people rock. Gay people and me are so cool together. Gays are my kinfolk. (in a low voice) I vote your rights away! Gays are awesome! "

  • From this vid I found out a few things about Angie:

She is a drunk, vodka loving Republican who loves gay people and has three girls and is naturally thin which doesn't concern Chelsea!

  • I havent listened to this interview yet, something about my internet right now maybe, but anyway ive read that she has said that she would support Sarah palin in the 2012 presidential election, and that is bad i think.

  • Angie is an angel!!! More Hollywood Stars need to take a lesson from her!

  • best chelsea handler interview to date...havent seen one better

  • she have a very cute smile she is very funny

  • omfg 'and if your gay then you should watch it' i love this show and I LOVE ANGIE HARMON - yes im gay but who cares lol she's awesome in more than just the hot actress way

  • SHE IS BEAUTIFUL AND BRAVE¡¡

AND YOU "AMERICA2FRANCE" MUST BE REALLY UGLY¡¡IF NOT LESBIAN OR GAY¡¡¡ TYPICAL LOOSER¡¡ CORONELPATTERSON

  • @coronelpatterson Was this suppose to be in English?

  • Typical Republican...incoherent and drunk.

  • @America2France You mean like which Kennedy?

  • Am I the only one that realizes that she seems a little tipsy.

  • Republican Women: Beauty and brains.

Its a win win situation folks.

  • saw her in victoria's secret at the mall the other day, and she really is just as pretty in real life as she is on tv.

  • someone pls help me what do the Republican do and what do the democrats do i'm from the netherlands so i dont understand usa politics.

  • @celebrityfilmmaker let me google that for you: 1) republicans wikipedia 2) democrats wikipedia

  • @celebrityfilmmaker Democrats represent the Left-wing and Republicans represent the Right-wing. Democrats typically favor more socially liberal policies and more government interaction the economy and Republicans typically favor more socially conservative, sometimes libertarian policies, and favor liberal economic policy that involves less government intervention in the economy. The differences between both parties are too often both understated and exaggerated.

  • @JohnRhysMusician I'm a demopublican! It's weird because when it comes to social policies I'm a democrat because I'm a liberal in that aspect but when it comes to economic policies then I'm a republican because I prefer less government intervention in the economy....so am I hybrid?

  • @TheRaspberryHoney I think you would probably describe yourself as Libertarian, and most Libertarians are Republicans. I am not a social liberal, but I do have a Libertarian bent on many social issues. I suggest you research Barry Goldwater, Ron Paul, and Rockefeller Republicans. Many tea partiers are social liberals or civil libertarians also. Republicans and conservatives are a welcoming bunch, don't hesitate to message me.

  • @JohnRhysMusician I can't believe I just read this! Well..it's hard because I am gay and it seems like most Republicans don't support my "lifestyle" as some may call it..but also, my roommate's parents are Republicans and they know I'm a lesbian and they're still really nice to me and love me..but what about the Republican politicians that tend to get elected? I do share many points of view with the party (mainly because I hate how the left handles economic matters) but will I still be welcome?

  • I'm glad I saw this interview. I've seen a lot of people who seem to hate her because she's a Republican and was wondering if it was cause she said some really terrible things. I'm glad I can like her again but I also don't know why ppl are so angered about her. I guess I havent seen some of her republican remarks but still im glad shes not a homophobe. it would have been weird considering her show has a gay following of the rizzoli and isles characters

  • So sexy

  • i found angies phone.

  • personally, I don't care what she, or anyone else thinks of politics because i don't care about politics. I don't understand it, so i won't judge anyones views on it. imo, she's a really talented actress and model, what she thinks or chooses to announce publicly shouldn't be any of our concern. I consider it a privilege that she's willing to share some of her life and her thoughts with her fans. If you don't like her, why are you watching this?

  • @xhxnxa2 The English word "idiot" comes from the Greek word for a person who took no interest in politics. Politics effect all our lives. Time to get interested.

  • @billottte I'm sure it does, but, from what i see, it also gets people worked up, angry, and generally nasty. I can't help that it doesn't interest me and I can't make myself interested. But if you're passionate about it, more power to you:)

  • @2225530 hahah. i'm sorry you think she's not talented. and unfortunately for you, "Rizzoli & Isles" was renewed for a second season. LMFAO...GET A LIFE ... IF YOU DON'T LIKE HER, SIMPLY DON'T WATCH HER!!!

  • @2225530 and for your information, Law and Order went on for TWENTY SEASONS before it got cancelled. And she chose to leave the show .... she wanted to move on.

  • @2225530 seriously.....that was deep. I'm in awe of your intelligence... You haven't watched the show, so you shouldn't comment on wether it is lame or not. You just don't like Angie Harmon and so you just drag everything she's involved in down. That's really mature.

  • lame

  • Well, If Angie Harmon's A Homophobe, Then She's Gonna Be Disappointed To Find Out That "Rizzoli & Isles" Is Considered To Be The Gayest Non-Gay Show/Couple(Which It Is)...BTW, You Can Be Republican And Still Support Gay People(There Are Even Gay Republicans Out There)...

  • chelsea is right. Rizzoli and Isles is kind of gay. in a none gay way. I mean I don't really think it is from watching it. But it isn't exactly hard to see, why some people might get the idea... becuase the two main characters seem to spend all of their time together, they don't have any other friends. The whole show is basicaly about a sort of lesbie friendship. two women that are so close, "even though they haven't been friends for very long" that they are like an old married couple, bickering

  • But some people will.

One man's/woman's god, is another man/woman's fool. Sarah Palin is ignorant imo, and not fit to run a horse ranch let alone the USA. But what do I know really.

I'm just saying that Harmon here is entitled to her own veiws. But perhaps she should have just left politics out of her public life. Imo she has no real understanding of what Palin stands for at all. I myself can't understand a word that comes out of Palin's mouth. it must be a different language. russian. :)

  • indeed. lol I think she's cool. But she must have some sort of mental problem if she supports Sarah Palin.. hahaha. But hey, we are all mental in some way or another.

She believes what she believes. good for her. And good on her for saying it too. But if she didn't want to be effected by it. then she should have been smart enough to not bring politics up at all ever. She's not an air head, and should realise that some people will think she's a bitch for supporting palin. I don't

  • She's drunk..?

  • She always seems very seriously closeted to me.

  • @rscmrcmd i think chelsea want some angie

  • Her raspy voice is so enchanting!!! I'm stunned at how good she looks after 3 kids. Sehorn is a blessed lucky man.

  • Angie' harmond is a homophobe .

  • the reason she keeps having to say it is because she really is anti-gay, she spins it to make herself look good. Go back to 2008 and read some articles

  • i luv the rings angie is wearing on her right hand ! very in style

  • @BrielJackson

I LOVE the eye sex her and Isles (Sasha Alexander) have on Rizzoli and Isles. They both flirt and its HOT. Just waiting for the sparks to fly between their two naked bodies !!!!

  • I can't stand Angie Harmon's personality, she just seems like a woman I could never marry, hell even listen to for more than 5 minutes. And her raspy ass voice is annoying as shit.

However, she is stunning. Tall, lean, brunette, three kids, perfect body. For her age, she's like a modern day goddess looks wise.

  • @tangled55

I have to disagree with you tangled. Her personality is exhuberating, funny, and contagious. Her voice is SEXY AS HELL. I could marry her in a hot minute (if I were allowed to marry) We AGREE on her looks. She is delicious and I can't help but want to taste her deliciousness! (is that a word?) LOL

  • I love Angie Harmon. This interview cracked me up!

  • chatterbox11: The so-called "moderate" Republicans are the ones who did the hijacking of the GOP. In 1980 for instance, there was *no* support for leftist gay politics in any major American party, except maybe for the obscure greens or the Marxist parties that were around at the time. That should tell you who hijacked who right there. Slowly, over the last 30 years or so, leftist politics has crept it's way into both major parties and gay leftists have definitely hijacked the Democrat party.

  • @wildnites558 So, Ronald Reagan was a "moderate" Republican who "hijacked" the GOP with his "leftist politics?" When Anita Bryant brought her anti-gay "Save Our Children" campaign to California and backed the 1978 Briggs Initiative, Republican Governor Ronald Reagan spoke out against it and said it was misguided. I guess he was just setting furthering the "Marxist" agenda he would bring to the GOP as its presidential nominee.

  • @chatterbox11" So, Ronald Reagan was a "moderate" Republican who "hijacked" the GOP with his "leftist politics?" Absolutely. Reagan was the moderate GOP candidate that year ('80). GOP candidates that year like Phil Crane, John Connally, Jon Anderson were all to the right of Reagan politically (Anderson actually wanted the name of Jesus Christ to be put in the U.S. Constitution; Reagan was vocally against it) . About Reagan and The Briggs initiative -- you're actually making my point. Thanks.

  • @wildnites558 If your point is that the current GOP would be an absolute embarrassment to Reagan and most individuals who used to take pride in the party, then I am glad to make that point for you. My point was that the current GOP bears little resemblance to the GOP, not just of Reagan's era, but even of the GOP of the 1950's. It has been taken over by radical right-wing extremists who would not only have little in common with Reagan, but would even have little in common with Eisenhower.

  • No, I'm not saying this. Until the teaparty element rose up to hold the GOP to it's principals, certain elements in the GOP were supporting gay marriage, higher taxes, more out-of-control spending on the welfare state. Moreso than during the Reagan years. The radicals are in the Democrat party who fancy themselves as "progressives" who wish for higher taxes on wealth creation. There's one in the W.H. right now who won't see a 2nd term. You do realize why the GOP is back in power, right?

  • @wildnites558 Controlling one chamber of a two-chambered legislative body is not being "back in power." Also, the current President has recently seen high approval ratings, so I wouldn't be too sure about your prediction. Also, the GOP has never supported gay marriage. Though, the Tea Party claims to support small government, so it should support getting the state out of prohibiting marriage between consenting adults, who should be free in one simple process to designate a domestic partner.

  • True for now. But in 2012 there's lots of vulnerable Dem Senators up for re-election. Out of the 21, 10 are very vulnerable. Republicans take the Senate in '12 That pretty much finishes off Obama-care for good. It's a good thing the GOP hasn't supported gay marriage. It is **NOT** a moderate position to hold. It's leftist politics being rammed into the mainstream by the radicals in the media and the radicals that have taken over the Democrat party. Domestic partnerships for gays is fine.

  • @wildnites558 ... @robh64 ... Angie Harmon: Major Republican Babe and interesting actress. And while she may "love" gays (much as we love everyone) , that doesn't mean she approves of that crap or would encourage it or thinks anyone else should be forced to approve/accept it.

Other recommended Major Republican Babes: Bo Derek , Kim Alexis, and Cheryl Ladd

  • So to be a Republican automatically assumes the fact that you don't like gays? What kind of grade-school logic is that? Or is that a soft-sell for the Dem party - If you're Republican, you don't like gays so the reverse must be true - if you're a Democra, you love gays. Republicans, *real* Republicans oppose big government, nanny state solutions to our problems. Most gays are Democrat and support leftist politics like attempting to marginalize groups you don't agree with. i .e Palin, ODonnell

  • @wildnites558 Exactly! I'm kind of in the middle, maybe even more Republican and I'm a lesbian! I don't agree with abortion. I don't agree with the legalization of marijuana. I could go on and on. But people assume if you're Republican that you don't like gays and lesbians. You made some very good points.

  • dang... angies shoes r killer... and i luv chelsea :)

  • she looks so fabulous.

  • Absoloutely gorgeous, love the dress/heels. Tanned brunettes do beautiful/sexy/classy best, like no other type of woman.

  • LOL I love the "Hey doll" as she comes out. So gorgeous. And it sucks that she has to defend her views on things, just because she's a Republican. She's HILARIOUS and sex on legs.

  • One of the most BEAUTIFUL women in the world. Angie ROCKS!

  • gay republicans = dumbest shit ever

  • Chelsea was so funny "Tell your gay friends that are Republicans to wake the fuck up"lol.

  • Im seriously in love with Angie! she's sooo beautiful and funny and she loves the gays/lesbians, go team! lol :) R&I is awesome, my fave show rite now :) x

  • OMG I LOVE CHELSEA SOOO MUCH AND RIZZOLI AND ILES IS MY FAVORITE SHOW SINCE LAW AND ORDER SVU

  • ahah this is great. I love Angie Harmon. and R&I is my all time favorite show! Best!

  • Love the show, love the carecter... know nothing about the actress, but I thought she was cute in the interview.

  • @FalenAngel13 I totally agree with you love the characters and the show,to bad we have to wait a whole year, and love Chelsea she's a trip!!!p.P.S..................Love Angie she is amazing also.

  • I could not stop laughing the whole time!!! love you Angie!

  • I loved that interview, I was laughing so hard my sides were hurting! :] Go Texas lol

  • What does Angie have on her right hand? What a big ring???

  • i like her as person but i rly hate her politics but i like that she supports gay people :)

  • This whole interview was funny we Texans have a sense of humor.

  • Oh no she can't quit she such a good actress. Angie please don't go.

  • dude i love her she is so gorgeous....awesome interview!!!!!!=]

    lol

  • drinking to much vodka can make a person gay LOL ./and her love of the gays seems alil overdone.

  • @chatterbox11 The 'issue' has actually been brought up many times in the gay community. With her new show Rizzoli & Isles having strong witty female leads, the lesbian community is most definitely in their demographic. Obviously not all republicans are anti-gay, but it is a major Rep. platform so the assumption (by many) is if you're a Rep. then you dislike gay people or are against gay rights. And as part of the LBGT community its nice to see that she clearing up a common misconception.

  • i think it's kind of annoying how if a person in hollywood is a republican, they are like labeled with that. they always get questioned about it and it's always brought up in interviews. let her be a republican and keep politics out.

  • @PinkIce102 Angie requested that the issue of "accepting gays" be asked. No one has said one word about Angie Harmon and gays, she was the one who encouraged Chelsea to ask about it. If Angie is insecure, then she needs to work that issue out on her own. However, perhaps she wouldn't feel the need to be so defensive, if the far right-wing which has hijacked the Republican platform wasn't so virulently anti-gay. Maybe, it's time she and other moderate Republicans reclaimed their own party.

  • @chatterbox11 Nice comment. I like/agree everything you said.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @janell5392 The First Amendment is a constitutional rule which limits the government's authority. The fact that I or others have an opinion about what Angie's views may be (she never clarified them) does not in any way affect Angie's freedom of speech. And, no one is obligated to respect views they disagree with. What we should only try to do (out of courtesey) is to not attack the individual, but we can certainly criticize their views. And, what "strong morals" are you referring to?

  • @chatterbox11 Dude if you strongly feel about the comments she said do Something about it.

  • @janell5392 Dude, I'm already actively involved in my community and in civic life. But, your comment makes no sense. What am I supposed to do about her opinion? Drive down to her house and talk with her about it? She's a public figure who makes public remarks, so she voluntarily opens herself up for either criticism or praise. She's a big girl, and can handle herself. Also, I don't dislike Angie, but I do disagree with far-right faction of the Republican party on certain issues.

  • @chatterbox11 its not anti-gay, were just anti sin

  • @robh64 Neither the Republican or Democratic party is a religion, so your comment about "anti-sin" makes no sense. If you're arguing that being Republican means you are opposed to the "sin" of being gay, then you should tell Angie Harmon that since she is a Republican who wants everyone to know she has gay friends, likes gay people, and is not opposed to being gay.

Conduct your own personal life as you see fit, it doesn't require you to be "anti" anything with respect other people's lives.

  • @chatterbox11 your wrong, both parties are a religion of sorts, but christianity is not a religion. But repubs are generally more conservative, dems more lib, hence my anti-sin comment, sin would be abortion, adultery, homosexuality etc.

  • Comment removed

  • @chatterbox11 I'm gay, and most certainly not a Republican, but where's your proof that Angie "requested" this? I'm guessing you have none. Your point about Republicans is a good one, but you don't need to lie for the set-up. The ends don't justify the means. If you lie about this you're just as bad as crazy conservatives saying that gay marriage will lead to bestiality. But if you have proof, prove me wrong. I love being wrong.

  • @definitelyeric First, calling someone a liar without any proof of it definitely undermines your point. You're making assumptions about my motives and also about what you think the truth is without any support. Second, comparing a so-called "liar" to intolerant bigots is moral relativism at its worst. Third, as several interviewers, including Chelsea Handler herself, have stated, whenever a celebrity appears on an talk show, they are given all the questions in advance and agree to them.

  • @chatterbox11 Although it really, really wouldn't surprise me if she did ask that.

  • @definitelyeric I would also add that Angie herself specifically brings up with Chelsea the story about how her gay friend called her to encourage her to let the public know that she has gay friends and likes gay people. If you honestly think that Angie Harmon was blindsided by the question about her feelings toward gay people and didn't specifically request the issue to be brought up during the interview, then you are rather uninformed about how Hollywood PR or a talk show works.
