You are a god send. Really have helped me out a lot. Thank you so much. I have one question about this video. I have Adobe CS4. I wanted to make the web photo gallery but when I go into the tools menu and into the photoshop submenu, the option isn't there.
@BUBBAm I know a year has passed, but for other user with the same question... if it's not in Bridge, you can look for it in Photoshop in File/Automate/Web Photo Gallery... i am not sure why it isn't in Bridge, but as other PS features, they were removed when we hit Cs3 or Cs4, but they were and still are available as a free download from Adobe's web site!!
The tutorial was a success for me all the way through until I burned it on a disk. Once burned on the CD and I open to view the pics, I have three folders to choose from.
"images" "pages" and "thumbnails" But neither of these folders show the index HTML.files/ or documents. ?? Am I doing something wrong.??
Re-read your question--just try the outermost file with an html extension. The main index file may be called index1.html. Look in the Pages folder for this.
Unless you installed the x-tra scripts in the Goodies folder of the Content disk that came with your installation--you will not see these scriptis in CS4. But to answer your question, there's an icon in the top options bar to open Bridge or simple go to the top FIle menu and choose File>Browse and that will open Bridge, too.
As stated in previous query-it is on the Content Disk in the Goodies folder. You have to manually copy some things into the plugins folder and the Scripts folder. PDF instructions are on that disk, too!
Adobe giveth and Adobe taketh away. I just got CS4 and I can't find it either but I suggest checking the Extras content disk in the Goodies Folder, it may be that we have to do our own installation of the galleries and scripts before it shows up.
Found it! and yes it is on the Content Disk in the Goodies folder. You have to manually copy some things into the plugins folder and the Scripts folder. PDF instructions are on that disk, too!
Excellent presentation as usual. I quit giving out "hard copies" some time ago because of the digital age. I'll have to check out your suggestion now that you done a good lesson on it. Thanks again Momma Shan ... :)
THX so much... just what i needed even thoug i'm not a photografer, this will be helpfull for me to showing clients my work knowing that they cannot edit my work that easy :)
Thanks for the great tutorial. I dont use watermarks, I make a video on CS3 Premiere with the picture, number, and soft music in the background. That way they client just puts a CD in the computer and starts to play, easy and safe for me to give out the pictures. Great tutorial though!
Yes Photoshop 7 has Web Gallery, not sure if it has the watermark function. I'll get back to you on that after I check PS on another computer of mine!
Yes, checked version 7 and it's there-- go to File>Automate>Web Gallery. You'll have to use the Browse button in the Web Gallery Box to source a whole folder that contains the images you want, so just make sure that folder contains only that clients images--the rest is the same!
Fantastic! Thanks for the help!

Hello Mama, it's a very good idea to create flash galleries for the proofs, you can make them in many different programs, it's fast and automated.
Merci from Montreal.

You need to open Adobe Bridge not photoshop.
Then tools, photoshop, web album gallery.. etc.

I think that's because you can't download these vids, you can only use the embed code to put on another web page. Sorry!
