@Barndancer61 Wow,amazing. I guess that back in the day, as a little child, I wasn't able to tell the difference between classic cartoons from the new ones based on things like the drawing style, hairdoes, music and humour, while now all these details seem quite obvious.
there was a live action clip of an old fashioned car jumping over a house on a ramp, two locomotives from the early nineteen hundreds in a head-on crash, and a guy on the hood of a stock car crashing through a flaming pane of glass. it lasted only a few seconds and was imposed where where the pink bird with the crazy eyes is placed.
This rocks. I just watched a fake one.. I guess it was for a remake or something.. it sucked. Everything was different. This is the real deal and it's great!
Modest correction -- a parody is not a rip-off. Jay Ward Productions produced some of the most creative 'toons -- always smart with a soupcon of Jewish humor, and always funny.

The new show was an embarrassment.
No one has the ending with the car that crashes just before George hits the tree?

Oh, how I miss the old series. Do you have the opening of his segment? That opening ended with Ape carrying him around.
