  • Does anyone know when the grain elevator was built? My grandparents were farmers in Mawer early 1900's.

  • i dont even wanna know how they got it on there without tipping

  • I LOVE this.... it is just too cool

  • I love watching this - I used to haul grain to Mawer to this very elevator. I am making a trip to Moose Jaw this summer so will see what they did with it.

  • Being moved from Mawer to Sukanen Museum in moose Jaw. SK

  • Well, I think that there is a demand for wood with a "Rustic Look" Many furniture stores sell "Rustic" furniture. Or you could saw it all up and make bird houses out of it....(no, probably not). Or don't cut it up...and make it into ONE HUGE BIRDHOUSE??? Yes, my last name really is Mawer.

  • Does anyone know what they were going to do with the elevator? I see a lot of old elevators in Indiana and Illinois like this.

  • @hotdog1960 My guess would be that a farmer bought it for cheap and is just going to use it for grain storage

  • The cows have never seen anything like this before!

  • I love that sound of the screaming Detroit:) HMM Sexy sound!

  • @GuardianDesigns haha i was going to say the same thing almost but had to look at all the comments to see if someone said it already haha. classy 2 stroke. lets see a cummins do that.....lol

  • lmao this was funny

  • Wouldn't it have been easier to just load the grain into a few trucks? I guess this does save a bit on gas, trucks, labor, etc. You get it all done in one run!

  • Don't see that just everyday do you? Had to stop and fix a flat.

  • that's so damn funny when the cows are watching the elevator go by....lmao

  • Looks like he fixed that over length problem before hitting the road!

  • i had underestimated the technology of 'grain elevator' -- having them dynamically placed where and when they're needed must be very cost-effective.

    : )

  • I wonder what the farmer on the tractor was thinking? :P

  • engine took a beating here

  • ahaha !!!=] nice !!! the scenes are very common to me!

    gotta love sk

    "What the heck was that...?"

  • You'd think you were hallucinating if you couldn't see the vehicles under the crest of the hill (0:32-1:36) and had no prior knowledge of the operation.

Excellent video! Tallest thing going down the road I've ever seen.

  • A drunk would probably say they need to stop drinking if they saw it moving, but couldn't the vehicles. lol
