I want to thank all those who gave me good comments. It was the first video that I made and I over painted it. However, I have made 100 videos and put them on you tube since then and at the age of 91 I feel that is an accomplishment. I am making these so that others may learn. When you paint with a camera --your work can't be the best. I am so thankful to be able to paint and edit my work and put it on Youtube. Millie
Abstract art always has a different meaning. When i look at Picasso's paintings, instead of seeing weird shapes and colors, i relate that painting to the world. If we all get along, no matter what shape or color you are, we could make something beautiful. That's how i look at it.
@IETCHX69 i don't care about that..im not talking about talent im talking about respecting elders or other people...just because its not the greatest piece of art doesn;t mean you hae to comment shit about it...."burning an art" how would you feel if someone burnt your piece of art?
I know the idea is to bring the shapes out once the paint is there, but I think it was a misstep with the charcoal. It would have been fine with just the paint. Good technique, some good composition though. This video/work has more substance than most here on youtube.
Very nice! It is pretty clear that any negative comments are made out of ignorance or jealousy. It is so sad that people feel they have to make judgements. It is so easy when people are anonymous.
@PrimalCircus yea i agree, those ignorant pot heads think because they are 20 year old artists, that we as older people cant, go take a hit off of your joint and you wont even remember yur f---- post dum ass
I liked it @ 1:16,,,,after that i think you overworked it, the colours lost their freshness and it looked muddied...didn't like the end result...no offence meant.. I like your bold strokes tho
I agree with you. I feel I overdid the painting. However, when making a video, it is easy to do.. I was trying to get a certain impression, of "Out of The Shadows". Thanks for watching. and commenting. Millie
The painting was so much stronger around the 1:08 stage, for me it became overworked. The use of colours after weakened the painting, and sadly became just another painting. Clearly showing artist individual idea's and personal choice of style.
i love when a paint represents something, but this one represents nothing...

I absolutely love the freedom and allowing the paint to be what it is - dancing all over the place - this is real art.
