  • I have the Ekobrew and I end up having to throw out the last 1/3 cup of my cup of coffee because it's black coffee grounds. Maybe I need a courser grind...

  • When we use teh Ekobrew or the Keurig version of these reusable filters, our machine struggles to make even a single cup of coffee. We also end up getting grounds in the cup, and it doesn't come out as strong as it should... What are we doing wrong?

  • @XeseroxEUR Use a slightly coarser grind which will get rid of that problem. This is true with all mesh filters.

  • @mjardeen Great Tip. Thank you.

  • These mesh filter solutions' biggest Achilles heal is clean up. If you're only making coffee for one then clean up isn't much of a factor but if you need to make 2 or 3 cups during a sitting then having to clean the filter after each cup is brewed becomes quite an inconvenience. Personally I got tired of the mesh filters and went with EZ Cup. Clean up is super easy and it doesn't slow me down when I have to brew several cups at a time.

  • @sweetgreggo Great comment. Yes you do need to clean up and it's kinda inconvenient. But I would like to mention that paper filters absorbing oil and flavor from coffee. So here's always + and - :).

  • Thanks for the video. I use the solofill and was curious to find out if the Ekobrew would work with my model of coffee brewer....

  • @a358747 Thank you.

  • Thanks so much for doing this - it was very helpful!

  • @meganko22 Thank you. You will save hundreds dollars over the year by using EkoBrew or Solofill Cup.
