Callaway C12s were built to a high standard, not a cost. They were optimized for the regulations at Le Mans. Today, they are still fast, beautiful and now, collectible. C12 are extremely rare as only 20 street cars were ever built. Owners have included Dale Earnhardt Jr., Otis Chandler, Andrew McKelvey, Ely Callaway, Rick Hendrick and Tommy Mottola.

Callaway C12 was a totally hand built car from the ground up. Built by IVM in Germany, the body was carbon fiber and much lighter, wider and lower than a factory C5 Corvette and the suspension was replaced with Callaway suspension arms and double coilover springs.

This car, was 1 of only 2 Spiders and owned by Otis Chandler, late publisher of the LA Times. There were 20 cars total. 100% German Leather and Lamborghini paint

1999 cost = $250K. GT2 Pole 2001 LeMans beating Ferrari & Porsche.
