It's ages since I watched this the last time and I still love the slow changes. The flickering at the beginning doesn't do much for me so I'm glad it wasn't kept up through the entire clip. Maybe I like the first change best, a sundown turning into a face and the knife slowly emerging. I like the subte details best (eyes growing lighter or darker, some of the flashier effects aren't my thing.

One way or the other: really nice work, it fits the mood of the song perfectly.

I think it pulls it off well, just in a different way. Of course I most likely experience it quite differently that most, as I am strongly compelled to sin the lyrics as the song is playing. I have a good alto voice and can reach for into the soprano range...

anyway, try to imagine the lyrics being sung by a female at the same pitch as the cello covering the vocal portion of the song.
