Cthulhu is a monster from an old story by H.P. Lovecraft. He's basically an alien deity of madness and destruction, and an all around terrifying monstrosity. Metallica made a song based off of the dude, and the misspelled it on purpose as a way to piss people off, but Ktulu is the supposed correct way to pronounce it. Cool stuff, look it up on Google if you wish to know more.

@wwejheaton cthulu is a character made up by a writer named H.P. Lovecraft in the '20s for a magazine or something called "weird tales". On this song it's misspelled as "Kthulu" when it's actually spelled "Cthulu".
