@HBCheyWesttt : Alyssa will be 12 in November. She will be in middle school in 6th grade this August. In march of next year 2011 she will be able to tryout for her middles school's cheer team.
Alyssa was on an All Star Cheer team from kindergarten-4th grade. she was 2 years younger than other girls on the allstar cheer team & those girls made their local jr.high cheer team last year, the new ones that joined the all star cheer team was not experienced, therefore alyssa decided not to do it her 5th grade year . She will be trying out for middle school cheer team next march 2011.

Alyssa takes tumbling once a week at a local gymnastics/tumbling/dance academy. She also has a new trampoline. She is on the dance team at the local academy which really helps with her stretching. Thank you for the comment

radioman682002, she does not need to work on loudness. her voice is perfectly pitched too. all i'd say is work on single leg balance, youve got all the stretches, just work on getting balanced in them, it helped me by just standing on one leg and squeezing tight, it helps get alot of balance, then once you can stand on one leg for centuries, (not literally) go onto heelstretches, and youll see your balance getting much better,just squeeze your muscles really tight wen balancig!xx

However, their cheer program has swindled down to hardly any girls at all, so she still practices cheerleading (because she wants to be a jr. high and high school cheerleader some day. For now she takes dance lessons as she has done since she was 5.
