I saw ACCEPT & KROKUS in Austin TX. 1985 in the now non-existant City Coliseum. This was the best show of that year. I'm glad that I drove to San Antonio last friday to ROCK OUT again with ACCEPT at Backstage Live, Killer show.

I saw Accept in Dblin, in the SFX too in 1986 supported by Dokken. That was and always will be one of the loudest metal concerts I ever enjoyed. Accept = Pure Teutonic Metal. Will always be in my top metal band list along with AC/DC, Maiden and Metallica. Long live UDO.

My brother, a crazy Micheal Jackson fan, was playing that song today. I instantly screamed that Micheal Jackson stole that riff from Accept!!! He denied it, so I just had to prove him wrong. Although I guess this proves that Accept is just that awesome, that even MJ was influenced by them.

My very first "real" concert I ever saw was Accept during their Metal Heart tour, maybe -86 in Lund, Sweden... A fond memory of my teenage favorite band...

I started playing guitar, a lot thanx to Wolf Hoffmann & co, and today I have a few cd's under my belt, tours etc and I'm currently working as a music teacher.

I always loved Accept but thought that their lyrics had gay overtones...then years later i learned that all the lyrics were written by Gabby Hoffman, their then manager who wrote under the pseudonym of 'Deaffy'....lol. So, it made sense then that most of the lyrics had a 'he' in them...true story.

It's cute like Whitesnake-meets-Van Halen ballad. I saw them on this tour with Krokus and Lee Aaron.

They were NEVER a commercial band, while they could write a very musical, catchy lick it was crazy to push them for radio success. Never their destiny. Too bad they blew out the plan so early in their career!
