@skyline8cp I'm not sure :( I tried it and it works on Win 7 and Vista but I'm afraid I haven't tried it on XP, but some people say it works on XP. Maybe try asking someone who uses XP and followed my steps and ask them how they got around it? Sorry I was of no help.

hey please reply when i try to open regedit it opens with notepad and nothing else iv tried everything put still, and the problem im trying to fix is that i went to my start and i typed in msconfig and i opened it with adobe after that ALL my desktop icons became adobe i tried to do system recovery and all that and i even made all my icons different ones. so now everytime i mess with one nomatter which one it is they ALL become same. please plase help im so worried and scared please!!! reply!
