I cannot believe that I first heard the Eagles in the 70's ( I was born in 1968) and I like them more than ever in 2012. I have been getting reacquainted with them and their magical music in my 40's. They are timeless and just pure bliss.

I remember my first serious girlfriend, Patty W, from 7th grade, when this song used to be played on the radio at least every hour. I'd be walking home from her house with my little transistor radio, and this beautiful song would always be playing! Those were those wonderful, innocent days of the 70's! I remember hearing this sweet song on the AM radio from a New York country music station called WHN. Jimmy Carter was the president, the country was in a bad recession, but this wonderful music pulled us through.

If any of you have not purchased the Eagles CD made in Melboune, Australia , called the Farewell Tour 1, it is the best they have ever done !!! I bought it a couple of years ago and for 6 months when my son came home from work each day that is what he heard playing !!! Shows how their voices have matured and blend even better now.

I remember hearing this sweet song on the AM radio from a New York country music station called WHN. Jimmy Carter was the president, the country was in a bad recession, but this wonderful music pulled us through.

I LOVE THIS SONG...I was going through a bad time in my life and fell in love with a guy (Danny...if you see this..:) ) Anyway he sang this song to me, or so I thought....he was actually singing to me about his feelings about his X...Oh well, it was in my favor so it turns out but at the time, man did that hurt. When I was in my late 20's I finially divorced the jerk.. I started to listen to the radio. The Eagles,Linda Ronstandt, kenny Rogers (Fine Time to Leave me Lucille).And all the other spoke to my soul-and saved my life (sanity).I love to listen any time. My G-kids love them also. I'm 65 now -but a rocking Baby Boomer!!!!! Thank you U-Tube!!!

I'm 55, and this song reminds me of simple times. Only I did not know at the time just how simple we were living. The pressure of the present day, takes away lifes joy's. Young people today want to know every bodies every move, through all the information tech we have. They just don't relize, big brother is just around the corner , watching and waiting to come forth. WAKE UP young people look around you !!!

I don't believe Obama, is the anti christ, but seeing how foolish people flock to him, I can see how the anti christ will get a following when he sticks out his ugly head. I'm so grateful for YouTube, allowing me to listen to songs, that give me peace and comfort, and remembering life was not always like it is today.

@mydogblue1 My friend, my dad is about your age. He listened to the eagles on our family vacations, driving everywhere. I've grown to love them, i'm currently 26, I really haven't made progress in my life as far as school, work and my love life. These songs, I can relate to so much.

Life is not over until its over, and its not over until you breathe your last breath. You'll find your way, and you'll find love in your life. And when you find these things, hang onto them and apreciate them. Your NEVER to old to find love and happiness. Tell your dad, I grew up with the Eagles, in North Charleston SC. My sons and I traveled there to see them, 1-19-09.

If any of you have not purchased the Eagles CD made in Melboune, Australia , called the Farewell Tour 1, it is the best they have ever done !!! I bought it a couple of years ago and for 6 months when my son came home from work each day that is what he heard playing !!! Shows how their voices have matured and blend even better now.
Love all those guys . I am a 72 year old Granma but still feel 21 when I hear or see them. That is when I met my deep love in Hawai'i . No better group for harmony.
