  • Uh, Hovercraft.

  • pero que vacano

  • People of the future, when you read this and view this clip, you'll probably have skateboards based on this technology... Let this message be clear and brief: save the clocktower !!

  • ekranoplan...?

  • @chap1144 Точно экраноплан)

  • Ground effect.

  • this is an experiment on a electric earo train, faster then the maglev. and very low on energy. this train is the future

  • its so unhumanic

  • @hugobossman. That would b legit

  • Y is everyone hatin? I'd like to see u put that together

Also, it isn't a plane, it's a lot smaller and it doesn't have massive jet engines

  • Try that on water

  • uhmm...airplanes already exist?

  • Its beautiful but its nothing new.

These are called "Ground effect vehicle" and it has a long past...

  • Lazy ass plane!

  • make that into a skateboard form THEN you have a fuc**** idea

  • I see something like this before but it went alot higher its called a plane

  • does this mean we can make ghosts from halo now?

  • the Caspian Sea Monster's little cousin?

  • Oh common people ground effect is an old idea, and as may people noted here Russians did lots of work in that direction and I am not talking about model or or prototype I am talking about real vehicles capable of reaching up to 600 Km/h (for LUN ) just look at that youtube.com/watch?v=eVTbi8kWovI&feature=related

or do search for "ekranoplan Caspian Monster orlyonok " or "Lun (Hen-harrier)"

  • This is an ekranoplan, discovered by ussr scientists!

  • Woww finally discovered the Russian invention! ekranoplan

  • wtf ?

  • the problem with this is that it relies on air alone to carry heavy metal and fat people from A - B. can we start to counter gravity already, please ?

  • @RainnusShin This is not the only thing that relies on air only to carry fat blokes and heavy metal. Haven't you heard about airplanes?

BTW, this really is nothing new. As many people stated here, the russians are using this technology for ages. The ekrane effect which these devices are using to levitate was discovered 80-90 years ago by a soviet fighter pilot.

  • @3lliottC the draft close to the ground is significantly lower compared to that at higher altitudes, which means less drag which means less power to fly

  • OMFG WE GON HAVE POD-RACERS!

  • the russians had great ground effect crafts, I hope they create modern ones

  • Back to the Future might right after all on the flying cars... or something close to it :B

  • "You'll have to sell your speeder."

  • Luke, No... Its too dangerous.

  • and the difference between this and a plane is?

  • the title of this paper just rolls off the tongue

  • this is nothing new

  • 小型化して通勤用に使うボードにならないかしら?

    朝パンをくわえながらボードに乗って学園に向かって疾走します

    地上から浮いている乗り物は憧れ

  • Wow it levitates better than David Blaine.

  • I can has Hover board PLZ?!??!!!?? That'd be freaking AWESOME!

  • i can make my shit levitate

  • this is called a hovercraft guys. the technology is over 50 years old

  • Levitate, hahahha, is that what flying is called now a days. You retards!

  • thats cool, like my video on a dog with rabies.... check it out :p

  • This technology has been around since the 70s on a scale that can carry passengers. They're called "ekranoplans". They operate on a principle called "ground effect" which is not fully understood but basically things go faster when they're in a state not touching the ground but not quite taking off. The drawback is that you need a long, flat surface such as an ice sheet or a salt plain for it to work. It's not "levitation" by any means though.

  • The braking mechanism needs a bit of work though...

  • if only new technology didn't take so long to be deployed all around the world and become a normal everyday thing

  • HOVERBOARDS DON'T WORK ON WATER

  • It's like a plane that can't fly too high

  • i dont understand...

  • i wanna see that kinda think carry 200+ people , it barely levitates.

  • @Hackzoid well the first ever plane barely got off the ground. would you have said "i wanna see that kinda thing carry 200+ people, it barely flies" back then?

  • @drunkenbozo1994 you sir, just won

  • @ Drrck11 LOL, i was thinking the same thing! Also, i'd like to see it chase me through a forest. better yet, just down the street, i'd just step up on the side walk. hahaha

  • Levitate eh .... think drones have been flying for a while.

  • lol cool

  • one small step for man one giant leap for skynet

  • when will cars be like this???

  • ..... i think there is a better way to stop, rather than sliding......

  • @grimwing99 Dumbasses didnt put wheels >.>

  • @darkmankill1 yes they did? at 0:20 you can see it, top rightest arm.

    blind fuck

  • @Sven2Perroy Still coulda put more wheels

  • Limitless applications, humans need to make better use of this technology. It's very a very efficient way to move.

  • this is fucking WipeOut

  • Wow, talk about cheap wheels. Oh yeah, there are no wheels. lol

  • skynet can now levitate. that's great... just great.

  • @mountaindrewbc oh man thanks for that, i haven't literally lol'd in too long

  • now just to make it hover.....

  • como es posible!"""""""" o.O

  • vamos mal he! una paloma vuela mejor !!

I going wrong!a dove flies better!!

  • Do you realize how cheap (and FAST) would be to connect a whole country with these?! Just build concrete walls instead of expensive rails and focus on thrusters! Not to mention maintenance!

  • ground effect win

  • These babies are selling well on tattooine!!

  • @stainlesssteelprat they are selling like hot cakes over there man !

  • @thatdutchguy89 These Puppies sell themselves! They're great for sneaking up on Womp rats!!

  • @stainlesssteelprat Throw in some shielding for protection from the Tusken Raiders when desert crossing and you've got your self a deal.

  • @goliathlup1 The shields will scare them away, but they will be back, and in greater numbers!!

  • @stainlesssteelprat hahahahahhaha

  • Wait, so it's an akward looking plane that doesn't fly?

  • @Nanowarex No, it is a train that does fly

  • It looks like a ground ekranoplan.

  • Looks Japanese to me, lol

  • isn't it an ekranoplan?
