I wish Hollywood didn't remake everything (not to mention fucking it up in the process). Making an extremely formulaic movie is one thing...but to just blatantly steal a movie outright and squeeze the wit and charm out of it for the sake of appealing to the U.S. mass audience (being an American I can admit I/we like some stupid shit sometimes) is damn shameful...borderline criminal. Even our film industry mimics our foreign policy! "Hey, that's pretty neat, IT'S FUCKING OURS NOW!"

I honestly like both versions. If a person is used to British humour then they will probably like this version better. If a person is used to American humor, then they may very well like the American version, or if they are black and American they may get the humor better. Who knows, I'm just guessing. I love both versions, and I grew up on English and American comedy.
