Why? The book was originately written in German, I grant you but the story is French. The movie adapted the story brilliantly, why make it again? In Germany the film is dubbed, anyway. A remake is a waste of money.

I saw Perfume on a flight from Bangkok to Los Angeles. The soundtrack was absolutely gorgeous. Upon returning to Bangkok I tried to buy the soundtrack, but it is not available in Asia - Thank you for sharing.
