Navy Seals and Delta Force have actually cooperated with GROM in many missions and they said that GROM was good and comparable to them. Now the first GROM veterans, some of them are training new Navy Seals recruits over in USA. Poland took part in most dangerous missions in Afghanistan with American Delta Force and British SAS

Also Poland had no outside help while France had help from 7 existing countries, which included the United Kingdom. And France surrendered after Germany was only halfway through France haha, cowards!

@strongman325 I would have to disagree. The amount of equipment we sent to the UK and Russia to fight Germany was one of the major factors that changed the tide of the war. The other factor is Russia going head to head with the Germans. The UK would have sat on that island and rotted away from starvation had not we sent supplies. Also, US made possible beach landings on Normandy, Think UK would have tried that without the US? I know they wouldn't have. Not enough man power.

However nationalistic americans usually say that they "saved" europe from total annihilation, which is not the case. Yes they sent a lot of supplies, but britain had colonies everywhere, so I doubt they would starve, as for russia, the russian winter and their vast numbers stopped the germans. Germany would have lost without the US too, it would have taken considerably longer though.

For some reasons americans think that the real war happened on the western front, which is the exact opposite of the truth. The germans had over 70% of their troops on the eastern front. And Britain was beating Germany in North Africa before the U.S joined there too so....The reason many people attack this topic is because americans act so arrogant. It's simply ridiculous.

Yes the Battle in Africa was on the British side but once they pushed them out of Africa, what then? The UK did not have the man power to project force over the channel or over the Mediterranean. It was the US that allowed the power projection to land on Normandy and Italy and open up two new fronts to draw the germans from the east.

The British remain stuck on the Island and in Africa. What then? Germans take Moscow and blockade the UK into starvation?

The western front got SCRAPS.
@strongman325 I am in no way talking total number of troops. What I am talking about is Power Projection. The UK was not good at the particular area of warfare at the time. At least they were not good at projecting power on the European mainland. They had little means for amphibious landings and supporting the huge supply chain that retaking the mainland would require. Look German was not good at that game either. They couldn't project their power into Africa where UK had power bases there.

They attacked the blockade and sometimes cargo ships.

Securing a beachhead. We know they are good at getting them off the shore after Dunkirk but it was US expertise (Learned in Pacific) and landing craft that got the English and Canadians on shore for Italy and D-day. There really aren't many effective UK offensive beside Africa and then that wasn't a great victory.

@with33 Lol, Poland fought for 5 weeks inside Poland against 2 enemies(technically 3), 2 majors: Germany and the Soviet union, and one minor:Slovakia. the Battle of France lasted 6 weeks(only 1 week longer than Poland) and France fought Germany, a major, and Italy(for 15 days):a semi-minor. Also Poland had no outside help while France had help from 7 existing countries, which included the United Kingdom. And France surrendered after Germany was only halfway through France haha, cowards!

@bermondsey548428 Poland fought honorably, to defend its allies, as it has for centuries. the U.K. never provided the aid that they promised, and Poland was left alone to fight a country that took a world of nations to defeat. at least we didn't wait until last minute, when the enemy was weakened to fight for the cause that you so viciously defend. fuck "the allies", and fuck you. Poland should have joined Germany, then we would see who was weak.

@strongman325 I would have to disagree. The amount of equipment we sent to the UK and Russia to fight Germany was one of the major factors that changed the tide of the war. The other factor is Russia going head to head with the Germans. The UK would have sat on that island and rotted away from starvation had not we sent supplies. Also, US made possible beach landings on Normandy, Think UK would have tried that without the US? I know they wouldn't have. Not enough man power.

However nationalistic americans usually say that they "saved" europe from total annihilation, which is not the case. Yes they sent a lot of supplies, but britain had colonies everywhere, so I doubt they would starve, as for russia, the russian winter and their vast numbers stopped the germans. Germany would have lost without the US too, it would have taken considerably longer though.

For some reasons americans think that the real war happened on the western front, which is the exact opposite of the truth. The germans had over 70% of their troops on the eastern front. And Britain was beating Germany in North Africa before the U.S joined there too so....The reason many people attack this topic is because americans act so arrogant. It's simply ridiculous.

@strongman325 No americans do not believe the war was on the western front. The war was on all fronts. Every front contributed to the defeat of the germans. Yes the Battle in Africa was on the British side but once they pushed them out of Africa, what then? The UK did not have the man power to project force over the channel or over the Mediterranean. It was the US that allowed the power projection to land on Normandy and Italy and open up two new fronts to draw the germans from the east.

The British remain stuck on the Island and in Africa. What then? Lets go back further would the British and the Russia even held out without the US lend lease program and US escorted supply convoys bringing supplies to a blockaded UK? Germans take Moscow and blockade the UK into starvation?

Thats plenty of manpower to open up a southern front considering over 70% of the Germany army was fighting a losing war on the eastern front. The only germans the allies faced on the western front(the entire "glory" that the americans claim" were germans positioned to keep france belgium, and other western countries under control. The western front got SCRAPS.

@strongman325 I am in no way talking total number of troops. What I am talking about is Power Projection. The UK was not good at the particular area of warfare at the time. At least they were not good at projecting power on the European mainland. They had little means for amphibious landings and supporting the huge supply chain that retaking the mainland would require. Look German was not good at that game either. They couldn't project their power into Africa where UK had power bases there.

The British blockaded Germany the same way they did in world war 1, however this time by taking denmark and norway Hitler secured a trade route and made it easier for the german navy to fight the royal navy. They attacked the blockade and sometimes cargo ships.

@strongman325 Its exactly what I am saying. Name a Royal Navy Amphibious landing craft? It is not how good they are at sea. It is how good they are getting Royal Marines on shore. Securing a beachhead. We know they are good at getting them off the shore after Dunkirk but it was US expertise (Learned in Pacific) and landing craft that got the English and Canadians on shore for Italy and D-day. There really aren't many effective UK offensive beside Africa and then that wasn't a great victory.

That was the whole reason Hitler wanted denmark and norway because it was vital for trade, and it would help break the blockade. Lets see what would happen if not for the lend lease program. The russians would have still won because they have vast amounts of their own resources and MANPOWER, and the russian winter.

Also if not for lend lease the Russian winter and man power may not have stopped the facist hordes from taking moscow. What the Russians lacked was equipment. They were in the process of moving their industrial base farther from Moscow and were not up to the production standards need to stop the Germans. The lend lease provided them with ready to go equipment to fight with.
