because the jewelry goes in through the needle, which means it has to go in from the direction pierced. so inside my lip :D. if that makes sense the way i explained it? :p lol.

A true Monroe is higher up near the cheek. If it is lower near the lip it is nothing more than a simple upper lip piercing.

Actually there is the Marilyn Monroe piercing, Madonna, and the Medusa. The Monroe and Madonna are a bit similar, the Madonna is a bit lower, and the Medusa is located right under your nose, and your upper lip. :D

haha, thaks, the healing went really well, i got it done nearly 6 months ago, i believe, so it's all healed now! it didn't take as long to heal as my labret, which was cool :)

i don't think there was a beaker actually, lol. the cup was there in case i drooled or bled alot, which i guess happens sometimes, but luckly not for me! lol. and she used a cork to catch the needle so that it wouldn't go into her finger, aaaand i think that's pretty much it. haha, i hope that helps?

haha, he is a bit, but he is suuuuch a good piercer. he did my nose as well, and he like, dances about while picking a spot for it. and then if you don't like it, he does it again. there's never any pain, or blood when he pierces. its good.
