@myjourneytoraw hahaha indeed ! there was os much good footage that we got but were under a strict time consideration for the inserts. I may go back and have a look at the stuff on the editing room floor!
@cooksterz we had a great time trying to illicit the *right* answers! Chris the presenter did a very good job - he did have about twenty takes to get the pronunciation of 'Truffaut' correct!
Darn that Liz1060 and her theft of the pig/truffle pun comment I was going to leave! I really must get here earlier or else all my puns will be undone!
Great job with this piece Les. I'm sure Truffaut couldn't have done it any better himself!
@phekwig thanks Andy. It was really hard work, but the kind of hard work that puts a smile in your heart :) Loved the experience - want to do it again!
@anniehiggy it was such a fun experience - the people of Montmartre are quite used to having camera crews around and they take it in their stride. Where the painter was filmed was steps from one of the locations where Amelie was shot. We had a blast.
Well, at least you'll know where he is next time & he's not likely to be going anywhere!
Although i knew he was well respected film director. I only really knew him from his acting role in Close Encounters Of The Third Kind. That's probably not how he should be remembered? :)
ooo ... I think you should have like a dog or a pig help you find truffault, they are really good at sniffing them out ... and maybe look more like out in the country ...
Great job and atleast some of them knew what was going on.I heard of a poll taken a few months ago where they asked ppl who america gained their independance from 26% got it wrong and like 20 more didn't even answer.
hilarious

It appears most of them knew where to find Truffaut's grave, unless the interviewer asked where the nearest loo was.

@DelisaProductions haha we did have to get creative with the questions to get them to point the same way!

@Blinkazoid Not enough puns to go around! I'm sure Truffaut would turn in his grave if there were room - that cemetery is really crowded!

@andymooseman very easy to interview once we located him.
He started out as a film critic I believe. My favourite film he directed is Jules et Jim.
