Wow BF3 looks bad on console. Look at that slow frame rate, muddy low grade textures and lack of any kind of anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering. I bet the game doesn't even run at a full 1080p. Just 640p and scaled up to the TV resolution of 1080p. Honestly if I was stuck with the Shitbox 360 or Pretty Shitty 3, I'd buy CoD as its made for consoles. BF3 is a PC game.

lets say i get 7,000 points in a game of conquest on bf3 probably only about 1500-2000 of those points are kills. the rest are flag caps vehicle destroys revives etc...

I don't get this camper argument. I've been playing COD for a good 4 years now only to drop it for BF3 in a heartbeat because it excels in virtually every aspect. @adsasfd The game is unlike CoD not a deathmatch game. If you kill something, it's prob to defend the objective, a teammate or yourself. The objectives of the map is extremely vital, as is teamwork (which generally isn't apart of CoD). Vehicles are something you've to always look out for, or get killed. You've to keep out of the line of sight of all potential enemies (which creates sneaking (=/= camping); you can't stay in one place for more than a couple of sec)

@mrtreize013 K/D is just a statistic, it's not a variable that MW3 created, nor did they want people to be obsessed with it, but it's there. Same with BF3 and even duck hunter. You cannot prevent the K/D statistic, but you can work to alleviate trying to worry about it by adding features that take your mind off the meaninglessness parts of the gameplay by listening to the community and taking action. I just don't see any action taken by DICE to alleviate their problems.

Wow BF3 looks bad on console. Look at that slow frame rate, muddy low grade textures and lack of any kind of anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering. I bet the game doesn't even run at a full 1080p. Just 640p and scaled up to the TV resolution of 1080p. Honestly if I was stuck with the Shitbox 360 or Pretty Shitty 3, I'd buy CoD as its made for consoles. BF3 is a PC game.

if your playing battlefield and a majority of your total points are kills then your playing wrong and probably not enjoying yourself very much.
lets say i get 7,000 points in a game of conquest on bf3 probably only about 1500-2000 of those points are kills. the rest are flag caps vehicle destroys revives etc...
its hard to understand cause bf3 is clearly an fps but the primary focus is not killing or guns its objectives

There is a reason my MW3 is currently sitting on the shelf.
It's still a fun game in it's own unique ways, and a completely different game, but it just becomes to simple and easy and monotonous after a while. One strategy: Shott faster, aim faster and more accurate, know the map and use some cover. Very very basic.

"Camping", and not running around like a juggernaut, regenerating all health extremely fast, is in the game design. If you don't like the gamestyle, don't play it!
3: You can't run around on a berserk and slaughter people, it's a tactical game. If you tried to play CoD in BF3, you'd die instantly. It requires thinking, teamwork etc.

@adsasfd The game is unlike CoD not a deathmatch game. If you kill something, it's prob to defend the objective, a teammate or yourself. The objectives of the map is extremely vital, as is teamwork (which generally isn't apart of CoD). Vehicles are something you've to always look out for, or get killed. You've to keep out of the line of sight of all potential enemies (which creates sneaking (=/= camping); you can't stay in one place for more than a couple of sec)

@commanderbly009 Naturally, this is the point where you try to bad mouth about mw3 and act 'hard' infront of everyone on youtube. I'll be honest, I've tried bf and i do think it's a decent game. i just go on it to piss about. And why is COD better? because it is a down to earth shooter. no sloppy movement, no weird boring shit. And yes, u do get campers in the game but at least i don't have to run 900 miles to suddenly get killed by some little prick hiding in the bushes.HHMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i actualy owned both games, returned MW3 because i already had MW2, BF3 to me feels smooth and you should never get killed by campers as long as you play with a team and tacticaly, also, please note, c.o.d doesnt have large maps so its much easier for people to camp cause they know people will be streaming through doors, and no im not trying to act tough, im just asking for the truth.... HHHHHHHMMMHMMMMHMHMHMM??!?!?!?!?!?!?......

I guess I can add cod awards too then, point being, BF3 is the same as BF2, it's an updated engine like IW's updated 4.0 engine, so please that crock of crap people saying "oh it's NEW engine!" is retarded. I think the biggest downfall for BF3 is the 30fps limit, it makes the game so slow I feel like I am in a slideshow FPS.

The game is made to stop camping and it succeeded, you CAN camp but in KC if you don't get dog tags you lose, support KS's allow people to not have to camp to get killstreaks. It's built around the community.

@mrtreize013 K/D is just a statistic, it's not a variable that MW3 created, nor did they want people to be obsessed with it, but it's there. Same with BF3 and even duck hunter. You cannot prevent the K/D statistic, but you can work to alleviate trying to worry about it by adding features that take your mind off the meaninglessness parts of the gameplay by listening to the community and taking action. I just don't see any action taken by DICE to alleviate their problems.
