They aren't though as the Spice Girls total sales stand at around 75 million including albums and singles. DCs total sales including albums and singles are around 50 million so the Spice Girls outsold them by 5 million.

Basically..it's a HAPPY & SAD song at the same time!

I think you were wrong there. IF Victoria was the one leaving the group, the same thing would have been happening too coz she was the essential part of the group too..especially in their singing. Victoria was the one BALANCING the group - on & off the stage - their voice, show, appearance etc. Obviously you are not her fan..but I assure you if they were reunited again without Victoria..fans will be screaming her name to be back too and SG will lost it's spark.

Once I heard the 3rd album, I felt like I love the Spice Girls even more but it did sound different without hearing Geri's vocals. They were great solo artists but the one thing that change pop music is definelty them together. Once I heard their comeback, I was so happy and got my chance to see them in December 2007 at Las Vegas. During the show, the songs cheered me up but emotinal seeing them together again. I'm on the plane, I see the hotel where they were performing, I wanted to thank them.

What Emma said about how she wished they talked more about how they were feeling at the time so things didn't become too much for some of the girls, really makes me see the importance of what Korean girl group Girls Generation (aka SNSD) do now. Every night they have what they call 'candle talk' and they get everything off their chest that they can despite how late it might be. Now I understand how important little things like that can be & I wonder how different it could have been for the SG.

She was because of the health she had and the depression she went into in the year 2000. Not that she didn't like the Spice Girls, she didn't want all of the trauma in the past to come back and haunt her.

I think they didn't appreciate Mel C as much as they should have. In Mel B's book she acknowledges that she was a horrible person to Melanie. I don't think it was all the other girls but more with Mel B. The two were known to get pretty physical in their rows. I think Geri even got walloped a few times when she tried to get in between them. It looks like to me that Mel B was the one who caused her the most grief.
It's called Catch a Fire. It's an autobiography by Mel B. It's an interesting read. It's very Mel B, no BS. Very interesting to see her take on the whole Spice Girls thing. Victoria and Geri obviously both have their own too. I've read all three and it's interesting to see the girls' different perspectives on the experience.
Geri's book following the split is "If Only". It pretty deals with her time with the Spice Girls leading up to the split. Geri's had two other books since I think, but I can't remember what they're called. The second book she recants somewhat her claim that the girls knew she was leaving. Victoria's is called "Learning to Fly". She goes more into detail personally about Geri's departure. She was really gutted the most from it.

I loved Victoria and Mel B's autobiographies. Havent read Geri's. Victoria was like she felt for the first time punching Geri in the stomach after she left... but a part of her was also hoping it would turn out right. Mel B's book's cool too.

i think Mel C suffered the most because she's quite controlling =|.. Victoria coped the best i would say.. Geri is just fickled minded- which is why she left- and Mel B is motivating and Emma is like Victoria; just goes with the flow. =D

i think she seems like she fell apart. it's not to say that she's weak but i don't see the same person there at all. she seems broken and bitter compared to how she used to be. i liked her better before.

She was because of the health she had and the depression she went into in the year 2000. Not that she didn't like the Spice Girls, she didn't want all of the trauma in the past to come back and haunt her.

You never know, they could be back sooner. I hope they are. I didn't get to see there tour at all. I live in Oregon, so the closest they had was in California. I wish they had one in Oregon or Washington

i really think something happened to Mel C with the spice girls. I think the other girls did something to her because all throughout the document it was hinted and she always said she never wanted to go back like it was the worst thing tat she was ever put through still luv the girl though

i think mel c is the most sincere out of all of them. i watched another spice girl documentary and it said a lot about mel c's personality. plus, mel c had a lot of shit to get over after the spice girls- with her depression and eating disorder.

What was the documentary called? Mel C was my favorite and still is my favorite. I hope she has luck in her solo career. She had and still has the best voice. I wonder why she went through depression.

obviously because of all the fame, she couldnt handle it. and they had so much work to do, not a day off. simon was very controlling. plus she had an eating disorder. im afraid she's had emotional/self-esteem issues since way before spice mania hit and it just burst when she became famous and she didnt know how to deal with it under all that scrutiny. i wouldnt be able to cope. its amazing she did, :)

I think they didn't appreciate Mel C as much as they should have. In Mel B's book she acknowledges that she was a horrible person to Melanie. I don't think it was all the other girls but more with Mel B. The two were known to get pretty physical in their rows. I think Geri even got walloped a few times when she tried to get in between them. It looks like to me that Mel B was the one who caused her the most grief.

It's called Catch a Fire. It's an autobiography by Mel B. It's an interesting read. It's very Mel B, no BS. Very interesting to see her take on the whole Spice Girls thing. Victoria and Geri obviously both have their own too. I've read all three and it's interesting to see the girls' different perspectives on the experience.

Geri's book following the split is "If Only". It pretty deals with her time with the Spice Girls leading up to the split. Geri's had two other books since I think, but I can't remember what they're called. The second book she recants somewhat her claim that the girls knew she was leaving. Victoria's is called "Learning to Fly". She goes more into detail personally about Geri's departure. She was really gutted the most from it.
