Its true that US and NATO will have to face problems in Afghanistan but there is no way out. Either they have to fight this war in Pakistan or in London, New York, Berlin, Paris, Madrid etc.

there is no way that afganistan can be pasified unless safe havens are removed from the pakistani border and the opium trade is stopped,wich is gona be a hard hard task but plausible

actually i just saw a tv documentary the other day about how they want to stop the opium trade what they did was they gave the farmers fruit trees and vegetable plants to grow and sell instead of opium that way they had food and money and its been goin positivly

It is not true. As an Afghan journalist I know what stopped opium cultivation in some major producing provincing like Nangarhar. They forced farmers to stop it. They did distribute fruits and other plants but those trees will take many years to fulfill people's need. On the other hand, Azzh00le is right. There is International Mafia involved and they don't want peace and law in place in Helmand, the biggest popy producing province.

I agree with Hajrulaswad and have to add that the international criminals especialy the northernalliance branch of those criminals are supported openly by the international community which is the sad part. If the international community will they can reduce those horific issues and can clean the area from any crime.
