Since the torch relay begin, I was so touch by the crowd who protest and fight for the freedom of Tibet. Most of them are japanese and the westerners.
I'm sure those Palestinians , or Iraqi will wish so much they will get the same attention like this.

Granted that Carter signed a code of conduct agreement as a torchbearer. She violated the agreement and was removed from the run.
The interesting part though is that the torch itself is political. Either all of the runners should've been removed, or the agreement should've been better worded.
Granted that Carter could've refused to participate, but instead, she chose to do a very brave thing, similar to what Tommie Smith and John Carlos did in 1968.
