The meaning of the ending is simple. You make a copy to not get killed. Samara wanted to be heard. Rachel made a copy and showed the video to Noah and ( by accident ) to Aiden. Aiden then made the copy with his own hands. That copy will go on to stores and be watched by people, and they will show it to others, and so it will continue. Because Samara never sleeps? It never ends.
