  • Love the way the chord strums on the New Fads records sound like they are being played on an old record player with a knackered belt drive, they kind of sag and that is just fucking great - especially when juxtaposed against the frantic lead and ethnic drums.

    I just hope he gets better....

  • saw them in Brighton Zap Club back in the early 90s. What a gig - awesome. Can't understand why they never made the big time!

  • @ericsrightboot The peel sessions are amazing.  The Big instrumental is top notch.

  • A much underrated band of the Madchester era. They were great live as well - gigs were mental.

  • In my opinion this was the best album from the madchester era. Even better than The Stone Roses classic album

  • not quite, but close! where were these lot from? one of the few albums that never got stolen at parties, but i lost 5 or 6 copies of the roses...

  • My amazing sister managed to pick up a copy of Pigeonhole for my birthday last year. Truly great album.
