today i realised that an HDMI cable instead of the normal vga makes a huge huge diffrence

but your tv or monitor has to accept hdmi connection now fsx with a single 8800gt runs at maximum resolution and the graphic is real! and with 2 sli 8800gts is even better than reality

i think its some kind of tint effect he is using in the editing software. Don't think its anything to do with Flight Sim

yeh they put the effetcs on after everything else such as the recording is done. Movie Maker isn't what most these good movies use because you cant do much with it exept adding titles. Try sony vegas 8.0 or even Adobe Preiere Pro both these you will have to buy but if your familier with the downloading side, download it lol. Hope this is of help.

No no no, see I am a real life pilot and while I was playing the game I noticed some missing elements that they could've added in, but graphics wise...it's getting there! But the game is still missing some VERY important stuff!

Even 1.0 Ghz is way too low. I'd recommend at least a 2.2 ghz core 2 duo to get somewhat okish results.

I have the following:

- Q9450 2.66

- 2 GB RAM 800 MHZ

- ASUS P5W DH DELUXE

- BFG GEFORCE 9800 GX2

- Running Vista 64 SP 1

Running this configuration in through the HDMI port in a Full HD (1920 x 1080), I can hardly get 20 fps on heavy sceneries in full high configuration.

What did you do to get those nice fps?

if you havnt yet you need to get magascenery X Hawaii. it goes perfectly with the dillingham scenery you have and looks 100% realistic while getting better frame rates than with default. nice video!
