  • this is so pretty. I wish I could find a blue/blue lava lamp like this.

  • How did you get blue/blue? I've been unable to find such a thing anywhere on the internet.

  • I want this now :)

  • That looks like the ocean blue which makes it look nice

  • Hey I have a lava lamp and mine has yellow wax and blue liquid. It seems to work fine but it goes really slow. The lava flows really slow. Any suggestions?

  • @zztop5911 Only thing I can think of is to increase the heat to the wax so change the lightbulb? I don't really know if that would wreck the effect but give it a go.

;/ blee

  • I Love the Blue Lava lamps, I have a dark blue jet myself, coupled with my jetstream it looks stunning, but i'd like a blue Astro like you'rs.

  • I simply love those blue bubbles going up and down... :)

  • Same quality

  • @clockworkwar is this white and clear color?

  • @clockworkwar is this a white and clear ?

  • On one mathmos internet shop a telstar costed 65£ ( Dont know if this was brittish site ). On another mathmos shop (european i think ) it costs 98Euro. What is the difference between them ? U think it is the same quallity on the 65 £ as 98 Euro ?

  • Hmm. At mathmos everything is much more expensive than electricplanet. Is it coz it is much better quality or somethign else ?

  • Simple answer - yes/

  • @clockworkwar & @weakkitten ... You are both quite stupid ... Electric planet sales Lava Lamps made buy Mathmos... same Quality, just diferent price.

  • @gentlenoiz it helps to learn English if you are going to comment. In terms of Electric Planet they seem to be about 5% cheaper than Mathmos. To be honest it really doesn't matter.

  • I live in America so even if I get one of the mathmos lava lamps imported to me, how would you suggest I operate it on the American electrical system?

  • You should be able to get an adapter to convert UK to American from somewhere under travel adaptors. But that really should only be a temporary measure and seen as the electronics in the lamp are really simple you should be able to rewire it for American use or get an electrician to do it.

  • @clockworkwar do you know where I can get a blue/blue astro? Their not on the mathmos site anymore.

  • MATHMOS RocKS :p

  • thanks for answering the question. can you do a video of the blue/green combo lava lamp? I am trying to decide on which colour to get. thanks. 5/5 rating video

  • I am sure there are other videos on here to help you decide. I personally think that the Blue Fluid/Green Wax and Blue Fluid/Blue Wax are the best combinations.

However Mathmos have just discontinued the Blue/Blue combination, the new Clear/Teal looks nice though, but if you decide on a Blue/Blue act fast, Mathmos have stopped them.

  • Lol, I wanted the Blue Blue one for Astrobaby White (blue/blue) and Mathmos told me it was out of stock! Well, imma get the Astrobaby White (Clear/pink) combination. any comments? I'm a guy btw.

  • Down to personal choice, doesn't matter if you are a guy or girl, I think the Blue, Pink or Turqouise look the best with those new White Bases. If Blue is no longer stocked for the Astro Babies, personally I would go for the Turqouise , however if flourescent vibrance of colour is what you want instead then definitely the Green or Pink. I have an older discontinued Mathmos Jet, Green Wax/Blue Fluid that has a White Base and cap and love it.

  • Okay thanks for your comment! Yeah, looks like we both love the same colours lol. I purposely left out Turquoise and you named it. haha! Imma see how it goes, the pink one's starting to grab my attention. Anyway, cool Mathmos Jet. I will upload a video of whichever Astrobaby I'm getting once I get hold of it.

  • why are mathmos £50 quite expensive in comparison to other lava lamps?

  • Well the American lava world ones do not really work. You need to pay the extra in order to get a lamp that the gel works well in.

  • Because they claim to have the best formula, and are handcrafted in the UK, and being a specialist market and not mass produced in China I guess they can charge the prices, they are an investment into something collectible anyway. The original and best, why choose anything else? You can always hunt down second hand ones.

  • I love the Blue/Blue combo. That's the one I am ordering, I will post a Video when it comes.

  • It is a cool colour, I have two :)

  • i want 1 =(

  • They are about 50 quid.

  • I want it :'(

  • Thanks! Check out my other video you can see the whole collection.

  • Nice Astro! I really like this color combination!
