Going from 4000+ to 4600+ would be pointless. Try getting a 6400+.

I know because I have a 4600+ and it can barely run Crysis on medium settings without lag.

Get a better CPU. I've got a HD3870 and my frames are much smoother. Q6600 @ 3.4GHz. Your CPU is holding back your card.

Can't fault the image quality of that 3850..it looks very vibrant. As regards the CPU - if funds are tight you may be able to overclock a slower model :) Thanks for the upload.
