Ive heard it said many times the Starfighter was a pig to fly,think they nicknamed it the Widowmaker.I saw one fall out the sky at Yeovilton Air Show day a few years ago.Pilot was killed.

great laugh vid guys, but its acually a superb cheap foamy....crashed the first few pissed after 80+ flights :-) Its one of the early FMS jets..ad still has to be beaten by 2011 stuff :-) Good on ya guys :-)

stupid video crashes it and then he burns it if he would of had any sense he could have fixed it before flying it the second time or salvaged the parts from it that shows a good way to waste money and dicsourage wouldbe rc fliers that might want to get into the sport.

What a beautiful perfectly scaled model of the F104 "Widow Maker". It looks so much like the full size plane and is just as crash worthy.

I have one of these and it is great.Even with 2.4 Ghz radio the proximity of the receiver to the lipo etc can cause problems with blanking of the aerials. With 35mhz interferance can be the problem. Ask me how I know this.....

that remindes me of what happend to my A-10 Warthog when during a rc race the motor had overheat causing the batteries to blow up in midair. Both Wings the tale wing and the entire plane exept for the cockpit was desintigrated amd the cockpit was on fire and that all happend within 20 seconds

I could never uderstand how an F-104 ever got off the ground in the first place- I think the wings on the real plane are only seven inches long. You guys were really intent on blasting that thing apart, huh? Professional job, at that! I have a few planes you could help me with- come on over to New York and take a crack at them!
