Well...Rick Roberts' character on Republic Of Doyle was recently written out, but Allan Hawco & Michelle Nolden remain of course. This is really tragic that they would make a show like this. I watched the first episode and it doesn't come close to what Canadians had to put up with in the former Yugoslavia. Why don't they make a series about Canadians in Srebrenica? Or the Battle of Medak Pocket? Or Follow the lives of the Brave that served as Peacekeepers like W.O. Tom Martineau who took a sniper's bullet through his armor jacket?? Are we ashamed of their efforts??? I hope not! I am proud of them! Go Canada Go!

I had worked on zos: zone of separation. It was shot mostly in Hamilton Ontario Canada. I think it is a good show and for all the people that hate it so much DO NOT WACTH IT!!

I worked on ZOS as well. I found the writing to be excellent by Malcolm. This is a movie after all so we should allow for a little creative license. But having been in the PPCLI myself I was itching to walk up to the actors and show them how to salute properly—which I was in the process of doing with Rick Roberts who plays Major Hart on set. (This was a no no by the way as I work in the art dept, not with the crew) and the DOP told me to get my f''n arse out of there - with respect : }

I watched the first episode last night. You need an IQ of 42 to enjoy it.

It reminds me of Planet Terror. You know the way Robert Rodriguez created a hilarious spoof of a 70's horror movies.

Well ZOS is a un-funny, ridiculous and downright disrespectful spoof of UN soldiers.

It might have a few original twist here and there, but it's not worth the watch. Save your time.
