  • Wtf did she put in the food?!

  • Su Mi and the Stepmother are both together again in the film' Woochi the Demonslayer'.

  • Does anybody know what was going on with the blue tent laying in the road? Was that ever explained??

  • the asian horror movies are the only ones that scare me

  • what i like about this horror movie is that it's not the simple horror you would expect like in american horror but it is very complex and has many symbols in the movie that you have to try and interpret, just like a novel. very well made movie

  • SCARY AS SHIT

  • I watched this movie with my friends yesterday .. We were all like " boring " and later everyone started to scream :L .. Even the boys ... C':

  • Alright your cut off lady. No more wine for you...........now if you could just take your shirt off that would be great....mmmmm k?

  • its Break Dance time! 3:19

  • I don't know many koreans who eat such a Western dinner haha

  • It's really cool how this scene works on different levels. (spoilers) On the one hand viewing it for the first time it kind of gives you sympathy for the character of the stepmother, because it plays on the theme of her trying desperately to fit in in the family and be well liked (not that she does not behave in an evil way)...then once you realize this is actually Su-mi thinking that she's the stepmother, you realize the reason why the guy doesn't remember any of it is because it never happened

  • GAHHHHHH I.HUST.HAD.A.MINI.HEART.ATTACK

  • lol! it was only the ending that made me like ... man the film is actually awsome!!!

  • Wow, that was wild.

  • what a movie!!!

  • I get freaking chills down my spine when it shows the bloody girl under the sink

  • @X00BLACKROSE00X the stepmom is sexy

  • so how was this in my related videos, why was that dinner so awkward, why did the girl freak out, what was under the sink, who was the creepy person in green, and what happened next???????????? im so confused

  • @Njguitar242 well yes it is confusing ..but its just a sneak preview .. you will def enjoy the entire film !!!

  • @Njguitar242 It was awkward because the stepmum (Eun-ju) was the only one guffawing at her story and her brother (Sun-kyu) said he doesn't remember. Mi-hee then choked and presumably saw a girl under the sink. The girl was probably Su-Yeon.

  • @Nylle62543 thanks, i watched the whole thing now (in order) and that clears it up a little. very good but sad movie

  • I hate the stepmom she's mean lol

  • *grabs crazy lady's hand*

"Sorry to tell you this, but you're plumbing's shot."

  • the woman in the pinky-red dress should lay off the wine

  • LOLLL i expected the hand but i flinched in the end.

  • @laurajdahl no, epileptic

  • so is this a good representation of the daily life of a korean woman?

  • The Girl under the sink was probably one of the most terrifying movie moments from the past decade.

  • wait so did Su-Mi imagine this or is it purely metaphorical? Or neither?

  • @TAGKikiAyame when u think a lot about soemone u tend to somehow fantcize yourslelf being him like in case watching a movie. su-mi's mental condition enhanced that fantcicsm into reality for her.

  • @Indiaexpress oh well actually I meant did about Mi-hee? like did that actually happen?

  • @TAGKikiAyame what?seeing ghost?yeah the ghost was real !!! it even kills the step mother in the end !!!

  • @Indiaexpress I heard that was also metaphorical lol

  • that sink! the girl under the fucking sink!

  • FUCK. THIS SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME WHEN THE HAND GRABBED THE OTHER LADY'S HAND

    '

  • When the visitors are coming for dinner what is that blue tent on the right hand side of the road supposed to mean

  • Does anybody know the name of the song used in this scene? I'm fairly certain it's Mozart.

  • Comment removed

  • They don't know how to do the Heimlich maneuver? wtf? Just let her die why don't you.

  • @goodguysdoll

I'm pretty sure she was faking.

  • @goodguysdoll it was an epileptic seizure.

  • woah damn! whos the hot young guy!

  • My take was that she was possessed, not faking choking, and was reenacting what happened before...notice the camera zoomed in on her hand at one point.

  • LOL everyone here should watch the movie x] it might clear up what's going on in this scene exactly.

  • The most terrifying thing about this movie is that everything's covered in freaking awful flower patterns XD. This is my favorite scene.

  • yes i agree best scene in the movie! the first time i watched this scene i knew the hand was going ot come out but when it actually happened i still jumped. a movie that can do that is awesome!

  • I watched the American version without knowing that it was a remake... I should go find the original version.

  • OH MY GOSH! That well scared me, that hand lol

  • Ghost under the sink is not in Su mi's mind. There is Su yeon's ghost. Real mother's ghost too. I think (I am not sure this idea) Su mi imagining Su yeon and step mother disturbs real mother's ghost. So she trys to scare Su mi.(nightmare scene)

  • The woman saw su yeon's ghost. 3.54 If you look at woman's hand movement, it is the same su yeon's (wardrobe fells over su yeon and she couldn't breathe). Su yeon is trying to show what she lives on the woman.

  • Am I the only one who can't see the ghost she sees under the sink?

  • all scenes with the stepmum in it is actually su-mi, yah?

  • That's one crazy cough she's got there.

By the way, this is a great movie.

  • Was the crippled thing Su yeon or the mom.

btw, the little sister's name is su yeon, not mi yeon....

  • I felt like I was watching a Korean David Lynch film during this scene.

  • can anyone explain to me why Sun-Kyu's wife sees a ghost under the sink? Isn't all this just how Su-mi's mind is playing with her? It is understandable that Su-mi (also being portrayed as Eun-ju) can see ghosts but why Sun-Kyu's wife?

  • @akrskb

well actually, Su mi was only crazy because she had a severe disassociative identity disorder. But actually, Su yeon, actually dead, with her mother, still haunt the house where they died

  • When a cupboard opens by itself why would your instinct tell you to investigate???

  • wow i bet you they never invited them to dinner ever again

  • this film is better the second time you watch it, when you realise how insane Su-Mi has become

  • Whaterver the lady said was not funny at all... but i still laughed XD

  • I'm interested in seeing this movie now.

    Was that lady nervous?

She was talking so fast- and no one was laughing?

    Awkawrd...

  • @KherbieL bcoz itz not the stepmother. itz actually su-mi thinking she's the stepmother and thus 'playing' her, as an actress.

  • those were sum good food on the table, im hungry!

  • WOW that freaked me out! (my heart skipped a beat!!)

  • What I like about this movie is that on most occasions in the movie (like the end of this clip) you see the shock effect coming for literally 1-2 minutes, can at the end pinpoint almost exactly when it will come - and still crap your pants. ;) That's really well done. The makers have a great way of building the tension until you wanna scream: "Grab her already, damnit! I can't stand it anymore!"

  • Oh yeah, the scariest scene

  • that shit gets me every time!!!!!!

  • THE FILM that made me love Korean sensitivity (not only through cinema). This dinner scene is incredibly well rendered by the main actress, she is great!!! Thank you for posting this.

  • Did she get poisoned?

  • your gonna have to watch the film ...its incredibly good !

  • @laurajdahl She saw the American remake

  • Comment removed

  • What is wrong with the girl?

  • Why dont you remember

    Are you crazy?

eesh i love this movies dialogue

  • ahahah i've watched this part loads of times yet it always scares the crap out of me.

  • lim soo young es hermosa

  • LOL, That girl kept laughing maybe she's crazy, instead of the guy

  • why are the cute ones crazy as hell?

  • The ending scared the crap out of me xD

  • the ending is not that scary...is more kind of sad

  • I'm sorry I should of been more specific. I meant on this video clip. At 9:18 when the hand came out of no where. My apologies ^^

  • @FCKundo I agree with you. The whole film is not about horror, the trick is in the youg girl's emotive state of mind - which is perfectly rendered by Kim Jee Woon, through the fantastic photography. To me it's all about tears & emotion... and depression.

  • it's korean .... not japanese girl........

  • She's Korean

  • @ErlenmeyerFlask you mean korean, dumbass

  • lol i saw this clip in school wiff the lights off my whole class screamed it was so funni

  • WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOD IS THIS!

That was so gothic is RULED

  • Holy crap!! Haha.. From like 9:04 to the end.. I was like.. Don't do it.. Don't do it!!!!! AHH! xDD That was awesome though. Lol.

  • this is fucking awesome

  • lol only evil asians have a sense of humor?

  • Oh shit.

  • holy cow, that scared me!

  • five stars it's very funny she is always laughing and then he say i don't remember :-)

  • all i noe is tht asian ppl make the scariest movies i mean white ppl scary movies arent scary at all and this is coming from a brown person way out of the picture anyway i liked ju on more then this one- but its not bad

  • you should watch a lot of asian horror movies. There's a site if you wanna know, I know youtube won't let me post it in the comment section. A lot of Asian horror wipes the floor with many of the present American releases, and as an American horror fan I can say the Asian movies are really well done.

Liek this movie, it makes you think.

  • What site? What site?!? I demand an answer, Sir!!!

  • DONT READ THIS COMMENT IF YOU DONT WANT THIS MOVIE SPOILT FOR U!!! i dont get how this ties into the movie when the movie is actualy about the girl making up all this and kills the step mom in the end cause she thought she killed her sister when it wasnt and like her sister was dead the whole time, or did this dinna party actualy happen but still how does it wean into the story of the psyco daughter.... or are they trying to say she was posessed but that evil spirit in the house 0.o????

  • No, not at all...

  • NO ONE READ THIS, HUGE SPOILER

The girl never kills the step mom. After the younger sister, the girl becomes schizophrenic. The dinner scene actually did happen, but it was the girl who was actually there at the table thinking she's the step mother. Also their real mother had killed herself in the little sister's closet, and the little sister was trying to get her out and the closet fell on top of her and killed her. The girl goes crazy cuz she feels slightly responsible for the sisters death

  • the sack was filled with dolls. and the "uninvited" was actually a remake of this movie, but the person who pitched the story only saw the trailer, so his interpretation was different, and that's why the ending is different.

  • really??? wow..he should have watched the entire movie why would you pitch something from a trailer.

  • @tretang666 ....you're summarizing the wrong movie

  • the hand is too fast, I can't time it

  • the moms breathing feels like its taking my breath literally away. jeez woman breath in.....and out.

  • Can someone tell me what the hell is going on in this clip?

  • did u watch till the VERY end cause when the mother picks up the hair clip an arm reaches out and grabs her arm, u wouldnt be able to see that unless u did it without going through the video with pause turned on. it scared the shit out of me. its like in the last 10 seconds of the video

  • i thought it was a step mom thats why she didnt like her.

  • ??? what??? i dont understand so she's like the step mom of the dead girl??

  • yea the one in the red top is the step mom and the guy with grey hair is the real father.... the other 2 at the table are just guests the main character is upstairs sleeping or somthing since she doesnt like her step mother and she beleive that er sister never died until toward the end she finds a body in a Bloody sack and she thinks its the body of her sister and that the step mother did it when actualy its the step mother in the bloody sake and she killed her and then she realises that her ...

  • sister has been dead the whole time (meaning the whole movie with the sister she wasnt there she made it all up in her mind)... its a twisted movie!

  • Creo que esta escena es de las mejores

    de esta pelicula!

    :D

    pero me dio miedo! D:

    xD

  • A good way to get out of an awkward dinner engagement: fake that you're choking, then violently seize on the floor. This is best used when following the hostess's socially inept prattling storytelling.

    Mi-hee totally one-upped Eun-joo. :3

  • One thing you will not get unless seeing this on a large screen with a good sound system is the creepy atmosphere.

  • oh wow the mom at the beginning.

her breathing is making me feel like i can't breathe

  • me to ...

  • yea im definately gonna go watch this lol

  • i think this got a little too phisical just a bit tho i still like the movie but yeah

  • I love this movie.. I mean, its good! scary, confusing, sad.. love it!!!

  • 這夫人是瘋了!我一直想看看這部影片雖然!

  • when she was telling the stories, god, she looked so sexy.. if i was the husband, i would kiss her then and there.

  • 這夫人是瘋了!我一直想看看這部影片雖然!

  • I think it's funny when the stepmother is all excited telling her story then when the guy says he dosen't remember she just looks so pissed off. I think it's hilarious! LOL!

  • American remakes SUCK!

  • Yeah I went and saw it in theaters already knowing how broken down it was going to be. At least she was nuts not a psycho like in the remake.

  • i only wanted to watch the remake because of emily browning cause i love her :3 But I agree that the original versions are much better!!

  • @JoeLaTurkey Agreeeeeeeeeeee

  • man i was waiting for this scene in the remake and it never happened, then again the movies are completely different atmospherically

  • ...which part is it that makes everyone jump?

  • Nevermind >.>;

  • FUCK

hsdrjbnk I KNEW that was going to freakin happen and it still got me damnit

  • I was totally expecting all that. But I still jumpped. o.o

  • The woman(stepmother) talking now is actually young Sumi believing herself that she is the stepmother. The audience are only shown the crazy reality that only Sumi believes & sees herself, but are not shown the real reality until only the very end of the film. So what the guests are now seeing is different from what we see.The guests are seeing little sumi acting out and believing herself to be the stepmother.. That is why they all looked shocked & unable to say anything...

  • i totally own this film LOL

OMG i was like well confused when i first saw it. me and my sis was sitting there reading the subs tryin to guess all throughout the film what was going on LOL ☺

  • LOL that is like, totally funny!

  • Even though the uninvited is based off of this movie, its not exactly alike. I think this version is a little more interesting.

  • omg...I jumped up !!!

  • FFFFUUUU same!!

  • OMG! i dont ge this movie :( can someone PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS tell me what's it abou??????

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • im not one to be frightened by movies, but i do jump alot. so the movie the uninvited was based off of this. i can really see some similarities. i need to see this now.

  • LOVE THIS MOVIE!

  • when she was twitching i was scared fuck it looked creepy. lol shit puke in her eye

  • Was no one talking at dinner when the stepmother was speaking because they really saw Su-Mi speaking?

  • Yes. Their awkwardness was because they didn't know how to handle the situation.

  • Yes. None of what she says is true. They're all false memories that Su-Mi creates because she thinks she's the stepmother. Because they're all made up, no-one can remember any of them, and they don't know how to react.

  • that fricken insane lady

  • this film is great. it also brings lots of sad memories

  • like the last 4 minutes, when the stepmom sees all the ghosties and the pretty yet evil hairpen, i would pause it every 3 seconds and just like yelp a little bit to calm myself down cuz im a little wimp!!!!:@

  • @ 9:20 I jumped! I had a feeling that something was going to grab her, but wow!

  • u r so right i nearly fell outta ma seat!!

  • Haha, it was just so...scary!

  • thanks for warning me! =P

  • ahah dude i watched it 6 times thinking i wouldent jump each time...but i did and my hart like stopped each time lol.

  • I don't get it whos the girl in the green dress? shes like lurking around..o.O

  • diz bitch is crazyyy

  • Ít was funny when I watched this with my friend and she was blabbing on and on we were both like O.o ... XD I love this scene!

  • Wait nevermind.. I think I understand now.. xD But if you have a good way of explaining please do.

  • I don't quite understand this scene. So this actually happened as opposed to Su-mi imagining, right? o_o

  • The woman was being possessed by the ghost of Su-yeong (the girl under the sink. She is being forced to reenact Su-yeong's death. You can tell by the way she is breathing.

  • omg! I have watched the movie and i never got that! You have good perception!

  • This is one of my favorite movies of all time and I never got that! Good call!

  • Yes, the scene actually happened, it's just that instead of the stepmom that was really Su-mi there, babbling the whole time. She was imagining herself as being the stepmother.

  • ah god these scene creeped me out. That seizure was damn scary.

  • holy crap this shit is creeping me out!!!!!!

    i love it!!!!!!!!!

  • you gotta watch the movie, I actually woke my family up, when i yelled so loud xD

  • LMAO! Same!

  • im need to pee

  • wat? creepy ? which one ?

  • OMG! This is my favorite scene also.

I've seen this film 3X on DVD, once at the theater, yet watching now on youtube, it STILL managed to totally freak me out.
