This sounds kind of like it's missing something important.
On another note; does anybody actually know where it came from, who composed it and why it's been included in all windows versions since ME?

Town and Flourish were composed by Nathan Grigg, and Onestop was composed by David Yackley.

@robholx it was orginally part of a game microsoft was going to make but got scrapped, so they left those in so people could test their pc's ability to play.mid files

Truly a classic. I used to love listening to this back in 2001, when I got my first very own computer (which came with Windows Me).
