I grew up on this river 3 miles east of Del Rio on highway 107 north to Greenville next to the wolf creek bridge..wow seems like we skinny dipped all over that river. I wrote the song Clean Water and helped clean up the Pigeon river in 1993 there in Newport...great.

We paddled Section 9 on July 23, 2011 and saw a Bald Eagle just before the Ledges....please help to preserve the environment
