  • Grape Juice!! :)

  • grape juice... qué bien hablas jodia!

I love how u think. U're awesome, no more to say

  • You, ma'am, are awesome.

  • oh my God you just played my favorite Owl City remix! Yeah! Dance Party!!!!!!

  • Oh My Gosh, you are CRAZY!!!....crazy ADORABLE :3 heehee

  • grape juice. i 100% agree im baptist and absolutly believe in God. i havnt come out yet due to fear of being rejected. watching this video really helped me understand that no matter what others believe its whats in my heart that matters and that my family hopefully will love me no matter what. thank u so much for making videos!!

  • when i watch her i feel like im right there :)

  • wait so do you have the holy under pant not trollin realy want to know

  • can i get ONE, just one that's all i'm asking for, ABSOLUTELY non-religious reason as to why being gay is bad? just thought i'd ask that...

  • @nerdygurlrulez I don't think there is one!! The only thing which make gay people feel scared is people who are and AREN'T religious being horrible to them

  • Oh my gosh! Thank you Jenna :D I'm very happy you answered this question. Kinda funny, my name's Jena too! (spelling's different but oh well)

  • I'm a christian and I'm gay and I have 7 member of the family including me who are gay!!

  • Can someone explain what LBS religion is plz?

  • @biandp99 its the exact same as being mormon

  • @brittbrittluvsu100 What is the mormon religion? I have never heard of it before!! < OMG that sounds so small minded!!

  • im a catholic, brought up with it all my life, no escape, and i do like the beliefs of the chuch.... for the most part. i think its funny that the priests are ridicules. they're all "god loves you and has great plans for you" then you come out and its like "you have no future i'll pray for your soul" i think that the church moves too slow. like, 50-60 years ago it was a sin to be left handed or "different", being gay isnt a sin, it's just different.

  • your a girl so your not GAY you are LEZBIAN

some boys like me will be fuckin pissed off

  • grape juice haha

  • Grape juice. I'm Christian and in Mississippi. All my life I've been told that if I were gay I was condemned to Hell. Well I 100% believe in God and I don't think that God would create people who no matter what they do will go to Hell. I just think they're taking it the wrong way. My translation is that straight people who act on false gay attraction, but aren't gay may be sinning, but not the actual gay peoson.

  • grape juice lol

  • I don't believe in the concept of sin, I'm not religious. I would like to think for myself what i believe to be right or wrong for my life and live by that. Making blanket statement rules for everyone(religion) may work for some but it doesn't work for everyone cause people in the religion rebel against them anyway and cultivate their own mind, so why not just let people do it?

  • @ckinch I agree with you on most of what you said. I just like the idea of having a god, it's more like someone to always watch my back really and someone to guide me i guess...Anyway I just like that part because it is comforting for me to think that there's someone who will always watch out for me when others can't. That's just me though. I like some of the rules just cuz for me they're good standards but as far as drinking and coffee goes I say have at it. I can't drink cuz of health issues.

  • I danced when you dance - that was cool :)

  • you remind me of christina grimmie :3

  • Drinking alcohol isn't a sin :)

  • @scoriodes yes it is

  • Saying that every mormon is a polygamist is like saying every jehovah’s witness is a traveling salesman, or every Muslim is an extremist, or every buddhist is a hippy, or every Pentecostal is a virgin

  • In my take.(My girlfreind told me this. So I forgot the name. but..) Something about eh nevermind. I can't remember her words... Hym.. Something about "God" and "homophobes" yet someone I think starting with a "M" painted the something chapel. If you know what I am talking about, Id really apreciate you clearing this up. Cause clearly I WAS listening... I just have a full memory ;) Anywho yeah.(Grapejuice..) Hym,Fyi,Me and my girlfreind Skyler are athiests..... anyone any idea of the thing?(;

  • Grape juice ;)

  • OH MY GOD HELLO SEATTLE REMIX :3

  • It's not the difference between a gold star and a silve star, it's the difference between joy and pain. But I do like your oinins, just clearing something up.

  • I believe that marriage is a right that everyone is entitled to. And we cannot control who we are attracted to, and I'm attracted to girls. So just because I'm gay, it is a sin for me to exercise a right?

  • saying mormons are all polygamists is like saying every muslim is a terrorist which is not true.

  • You speak the freaking truth i love your videos so much thank you!

  • My family are all Mormons! Woot, i feel better. I'm subscribing. You inspire me, and i really appreciate that!

  • I'm a Christian, but also Bisexual. I don't really think God would condemn us for something we cannot control. If we weren't supposed to be gay...why do we end up being born that way? He loves everyone for who they are...so I don't think it matters what sex you like. I used to like...think I was going to Hell for it, but then when I thought about it, why would he hate me for it? Of course he wouldn't! LOL.

  • Ok, I'm 12 and something inside tells me I'm lesbian, my take on the religon problem of this is God made us this way he made us sinners and he is perfect we aren't so we can't help the way people were made. And yes I'm very religous, I'm a christen and I think that gays and bis are okay so thats just one sin out of a lot in your life.

  • Grape juice! :D

  • I believe that being gay is a sin. But so is lying, stealing, cheating, thinking or talking bad about someone, swearing, getting drunk, and more. Everyone has done something like that and in my opinion they are all the same in God's eyes. Sinning is just in our nature. My dad told me that somewhere in the Bible it says that even our greatests deeds are like dirty rags to God. So all of our sins are even worse than that.

  • @TheFutureVet101 "I believe that being gay is a sin” --> ok, and why do you hold this belief? Is there a justification for it?

  • I'm not LDS, my friend is, and I've been to YW camp twice :)) It's so fun and everyone's pretty loving <3 But I don't feel comfortable coming out to the girls I know from camp. :p

  • I have an urge to hug you.

  • grape juice :)

  • i could really use someone to talk to about being religious & being gay. i've never been so confused.

  • I am Jewish and Gay. It was hard at the start but now it is easy. Loved this clip xxx And I love you xx

  • Grape Juice.

  • I am a 100% christian, and i agree with the things you said, jenna. I believ being gay is a sin becuase it was not intended by God to be male and male or female and female. I believe gay people ARE born with this things in their mind that makes them gay because i know people who would chose not to be gay if they could help it. But we are all born imperfect and we are all born sinful. So its no bigger of a sin being gay than it is having an addiction problem or any other sin. and i <3 you gurl

  • I'm not gay, but I'm like "Fuck religion!".

  • Grape Juice!!!

  • I am an atheist, but I'm not like "fuck religion." I understand that some people need it and get something out of it. It just isn't my personal scene because I don't believe in the supernatural. Those are just my personal beliefs. I dislike it, actually, when atheists are harsh to religious people just because they believe in something different, but it goes both ways. I face a lot of adversity from religious people because I'm atheist.

  • This video helped me so so much, I have come back and watched it many times, I'm gay, Christian and I really struggle

  • I love this. I am a Christian. I have gay friends and relatives and they are happy. Even though many people in my religion will say it is wrong to be homosexual, I don't. Ya know, you are what you are. So, Idk if this comment really made sense, but I just want to say I am happy you made this. (:

  • Wow that was an awesome video! I'm a Catholic and I'm not gay (at least I don't think I am LOL) but I'm really interested in these sorts of philosophical issues.

I think one thing people have to keep in mind is that the Bible was written by humans. Yeah you can argue that the humans were inspired by God, but that was 2000 years ago. The Bible has been translated and changed hands many times. It is my firm belief that God loves everyone. Jesus sat down with social rejects!

  • grape juice

  • grape juuiiiiiiccccceee

  • HELLO SEATTLE REMIX YES YES DANCE MUSIC

  • GRAPE JUICE!!! Love your videos Jenna <3! And good point, agree with you lady!!! We all need more (much more) respect and understanding! Sure the world would be a very different place if we all have a little more of that...respect and understanding!

  • @loser33user I'm roman catholic too, it's tough going to a catholic high school being told daily that it's wrong. And I'm at the point where I've lost hope in it. And Im yet to find the person that's pulled through and living in the church happily, personally I can't imagine not acting on my feelings.

  • I pray that Jesus Christ will free you and your mind from your lifetime bondage to sin in Jesus' name. God's wrath shall see to your distribution of false doctrine and handing out 25,904 Satan's apples on YouTube. I hope one day you become happy and stop posting countless videos on the one thing you're most insecure about.

  • @wrlddstrctn You know, Christianity is a wonderful religion, but by comments like these, you only repel people wh AWAY from it. Do you want people to see the beauty you see in Jesus? Then stop treating people like they are unimaginably evil beings who are blinded to their "sin" by Satan. This girl is kind, and wonderful. She is helping heal hearts and soothe pain felt by so many people. And if you cant see that, then you need to take a second look at Jesus. "Love one another." That's IT.

  • I love your videos! They make me happy.

    P.S. what's the song you dance-partied to?

  • @SweetSunshineCamper Hello Seattle Remix by Owl City!!

  • Comment removed

  • I don't get how any Christian could think drinking alcohol is a sin, because Jesus turned the water into wine... Anyway being gay in the Catholic Church isn't working too well for me so I wouldn't advise it.

  • being a catholic and being gay is really really hard especially when my family is very very religious. it does say in the bible that a man having sex with another man (woman and woman) as they would a woman (or man) they have done a great sin. but i agree with jenna for being happy than miserable for the rest of my life :) grape juice is awesome

  • To be honest, drinking alcohol isnt a sin, its when you drink it in excessive amounts.

  • Well we're nobody to judge.. But too bad we all are going to be judged by God some day. You might be happy at doing something, but it doesn't mean it's "right". Those things are not subjective.. You can't be agree with God's terms on just a half.. But on the other hand we all are law breakers.. So I can't judge you, but the bible says it's a sin.. not us. So don't think it's an argue with religious people.. Tell that to God, at the end we all know what happened with Sodom and Gomorrah!

  • I hate it when people compare being gay to having an anger problem. . . No one is born with an anger gene.

  • LOL wait its 1 John 4:7-12 I just looked it up. Again, 1 John 4:7-12. Amazing passage

  • And Jenna is amazing for posting this <3 Girl's got guts for talking about such a controversial topic.

  • Guys, God didn't CREATE murderers. He doesn't bring pain and hate and sin into the world; Satan does. God is everywhere and always with you but that doesn't mean he's causes everything that happens. Sin came into the world through the Fall. It wasn't God's intention for people to run around murdering people. God creates everyone in His image, and welcomes them just as they are. Anyone doubting this can read 1 John chapter 1, the most powerful and true depiction of God's love that I've ever read.

  • Grape juice!!! XP

  • Grape juice :)

  • shush jenna you never look hidious! :) Your always pretty

  • Grape juice :D

  • You can't compare gays to murderers. Whether you believe its a choice or you're born that way. Who are gay people hurting? What are we doing but simply being with who makes us happy.

  • @KendrixTermina thank you so much! (:

  • Seriously, this video gave me the courage to come out and I'm thinking over my views on religion....and grape juice.

  • hey im a mormon too. i am not gay or bi or anthing like that but my brother is and i am actually getting my patriarchal blessing in about 9 hours. i know that you are not going to outer darkness. i just wonder want to know how to ask my bishop for advice on him. it is an odd thing to ask a bishop so i will ask you, what is the best way to support my brother?

  • grape juice

  • It will be way worse off in the next life knowing what you know and choosing the path you have.

  • grape juice....

well if i choose to be in my religion i cant be openly gay.... so its either i stay in the closet and i stick to my religion or i go out and lose my religion....

    what do i do?

  • when my mom found out tht im gay she said tht the devil was in me. in which i dont believe this. she gave me a hard time for a long time. i think she has forgotten about me being gay, And i dont know how to remind her. Because idont want her to find out about me dating a girl and freak out again. I mean, i want her to at least try to understand and love me. So, im asking. How can i just remind her and talk to her about me being gay? id love to get an answer. , you are an inspiration.

    xx, Kim.

  • @musicSceneXoxo You might start the conversation with "You love me, right?" "You love me the way I am, right?" and so on, before you remind her of the gay thing, remind her that you're still her daughter and you love each other and you're a family and stuff. When you tell her, she must be awara that you're... you and not some weird monster some ppl told her about, that you're the you she knew all her life. She might need some time to "process it" but she'll eventually calm down, she's your mum.

  • Grape Juice(:

  • grape juice ^^

  • Jenna for president

  • Oh my GOSHH, You are CRAZY! << sorry i had too <3

  • Jenna for president.

  • you are soo cute hun

  • im LDS and im SO glad you cleared up the more than one wife thing -.- i HATE it when ppl ask me that!

  • What if you don't get a gold or silver star, but go to Hell? I am NOT AT ALL saying it does, but what if it did? I'm just interested in how that may change things.

P.S. You are amazing! So intelligent, so well spoken, so wise. I love listening to you! :)

  • I'm LDS and im Bi andd i love my church uughh its hard to decide

  • Haha Good One Your So Right I agree with You

  • I understand this so much. I am bisexual in a Catholic/Christian family.

  • One question: When are you going to make a video that describes what do you believe in? :) I'm interested.

  • I was Wiccan way before I even let myself realize that I am gay. I feel that if you are happy and feel comfortable with what you are, it should not interfere with your views and beliefs, Christian or not.

Not sure if that makes sense.. Hmm...

    Oh yeah, and grape juice.

  • @TheFraz13 if you look at some of the defence arguments made in homocide cases today, many are arguing that these people ARE born murderers. And I read an article a while back that said that they have a gene associated with engaging in violent behaviour. But does that excuse them from their actions? No! They still get locked up

  • I agree im cristen but I aggree

  • Comment removed

  • @lesbiananswers You say that churches teach that you can't be happy if you're gay. But in reality all Christianity states is that homosexuality is a sin. You can be happy or not when you're sinning but it doesn't really matter because it's still a sin.

  • grape juice

  • you look good Jenna XD you dont look like shit in the vid

  • @ninubutt Your logic is false. God creating someone a certain way doesn't justify their actions. If God thinks homicide is a sin, why did he create murderers?

  • @alphablitzmale People aren't born murderers. God created people which have a problem in their brain which makes them attractive to the same sex which cannot be reversed.

  • OH MA GAWWSH, YOU ARE CARAZZYY.

  • Grape Juice!!!

  • My religion has a totally different perception of things like alcohol and sexuality...and maybe even drugs. We just feel that it's alright to be attracted to the same gender-because this very common, and many people like me can't help that-but on the other hand, we don't fully like it because we weren't made with expandable preferences. We were originally created narrow, which is why some consider homosexuality a sin, I think. Now, for alcohol, we're all good. In moderation. I'm a JW, BTW!

  • Hey...what was that song? I like it.

  • @victoriaisntsosecret Hello Seattle by Owl City.

  • @victoriaisntsosecret Hello Seattle by Owl City.

  • @schizowallflower Hey, thanks!

  • grape juice

  • What religion teaches 'If you are gay you can't be happy'? They preach it is a sin and you will be sorry after your death not during your life.. :P

  • ROFL

  • I completely agree, i did the same thing as u, didnt accept myself and ended up getting depressed worse part of my life to date. Now im alot more accepting of myself and i totally agree with u religion and being gay can go hand in hand its the way u show urself that expresses u, im muslim btw.

  • so is Tasha a Mormon??? isnt that the rules...i have a Mormon friend and she said Mormon's can only date Mormons?

  • well this is something like Jennifer Knapp's case, the Christian and gay singer.

  • I saw this on Jenna's Tumblr...I am completely and utterly mormon (LDS) and although I am straight I can understand where she is coming from completely. Homosexuality is a feeling and a struggle that you are created with, we believe that it is a choice whether you act on the homosexual feelings you are born with. We are a church with beliefs of salvation not a church of damnation. People expect us to hate gay people but if someone is truely LDS we love all Gods children however they are created

  • you just changed my view on mormons.my first thought: "omg nooo! :o :( " ,my second thought "creepy american mormon guys who knock on my door 2 talk about jesus" my 3rd thought "christians knock on my door just 2 ask 4 money tho -.-" 4th thought "so she's a mormon.she's still cool.mkay.". Thanks 2 u, I now am ok with mormons. My preconceptions about them are gone :P

  • Grape Juice!!

  • Is it wrong that the second you said you were Mormon, i got the damn 'Book of Mormon' soundtrack stuck in my head...sorry Jenna

  • and btw.. it say´s in the bible god made all man in his own image ;)

  • Thank you... Born gay... I get the question why did you turn gay, why did you become gay...

  • WOW You're videos are are quite interesting :P love themm :D

  • thank you so much for making this video. i personally am and have been struggling with this topic for almost a year. thank you.

  • grape juice <3

  • LOL I totally would have guessed Mormon. Mormon lesbians are the prettiest ones.

  • drinking alcohol is a sin? jesus drank wine all the time. so i suppose He's going to hell? uh, NO. i'm very christian, but i don't believe that God would condemn someone to hell for the way He created them. religion is very confusing. i have simple beliefs, i believe God created the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th and that He created everyone and sent His son to die for us on the cross and that if i accept Jesus into my heart i'm going to heaven. plain and simple. and i'm a lesbian.

  • grape juice :D

  • I'm Baptist and I'm bisexual, my mother is against being gay and I believe the same as you do. I'd rather accept this part of me and be happy, then be miserable and fight it. oh yea...GRAPE JUICE!

lady gaga say god makes no mistake we are born this way :)

  • grape juice

  • GRAPE JUICE!!! XD hehe

Anyway, I love the videos I've seen form you so far, they're great! :) You are like my saviour! After what I've seen from you! :P Btw I loved your little dance! It was great! :D Keep being great! You're brilliant!

  • One of my best friends is mormon, and I'm gay. There is a friend of hers that is in the church and gay, and hasn't been active for 3 years in the church.

  • why is everyone saying grape juice?

  • Just started watching and omg your MY savior and wherever you go, i wanna go there! :) oh, GRAPE JUICE!!!!!! <3

  • oh mah gawsh

  • Hey only just started watching your videos but had to say 2 things 1. your AWESOME =) 2. GRAPE JUICE!

  • I like the little dancing introduction; it livened things up. You have a lot of energy, and you are fun to watch. Also, you had a nice personal story to tell with some good observations.

  • There are Christian religious groups, such as the Episcopal Church and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and Jewish religious groups, such as Reform Judaism and Reconstructionist Judaism, that do fully accept gay people and do not feel that being gay is a sin at all. These churches and synagogues even have gay clergy.

  • @RCSVirginia congregational. am i right about that?

  • @yo5612

Methinks that the Congregational Churches, or at least most of them, merged into the United Church of Christ in the 1950's. As part of that denomination, they would now have ministers and parishioners who are gay. In addition, some individual churches in the United Church of Christ endorse gay marriage, too. Some of the United Church of Christ churches use their old names. For instance, the one in Stamford, Connecticut, is called the First Congregational Church.

  • You make SO MUCH SENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mormon, just... wow.

  • you kind of remind me of Christina Grimmie, but cuter (:

  • I am a black Muslim bisexual. Like how much crazier can it get? My family is extremely religious and I am too, so I have no idea how to go about this but I guess I'll just take it one day at a time. I am certain that I will never ever come out to my family though.

  • @QuietBarbie m trying to do that n i feel so guity about that

  • @1010mcc Don't feel guilty as long as you still practice your faith and believe in God. Your sexuality shouldn't affect your religion and your religion shouldn't affect your sexuality.

  • Grape Juice<3 XD

  • GRAPE JUICE

  • i'm a Buddhist myself, and Buddhism doesn't hold a particular view on being gay or straight. As long as both partners are happy, then that's what counts.

  • GRAPE JUICE!!!!

Of course i could not stop watching! I love all of your videos, and your voice...!

You're so beautiful, and i can't believe how can you talk like that being so young..

I mean that very mature way of explain all of these things...

You're just AWESOME! Keep being like this! :D
