I don't know why "The Legend of The Seeker" got cancelled two years ago!! This was the best show on CW11 Saturday night lineup. They need to put it back on the air and continue it's seasons. The show left off with an EXCELLENT Cliffhanger with Nicki turning from "Sister Of The Dark" to a "Mord'Sith". Now that was going to be good for Season 3. Nicki probably would been the strongest Mord'Sith ever because she would have her Sister Of the Dark powers combined with the Mord'Sith's.

Kahlan, in my opinion, was a perfect choice looks wise, could of done a bit better with the acting, but so could the entire cast. Richard was the poorest choice EVER, tiny, whiney boy. Zedd was mediocore, Mordsith were a JOKE, and the soldiers were all so tiny. Im sad at Terry Goodkind, was a good idea to make a show, but the directing and producing were terrible. =(

I love the electric guitar that they added to the fight music in the later episodes. Absolutely brilliant. Makes watching Kahlan and Cara rain a fire of badassery on their asses all the more enjoyable!

@Cepharim to add on to that. I would definitely have loved a movie series that closely followed the books. If they would have made movies they likely would have had to stop after the first one and not get into the imperial order because that doesnt conclude until the end and there is no way they would make 12 movies.
@Cepharim The difference in the two stories just shows what a great author Goodkind is that his writing could inspire a whole new story based on his characters and the world he created. I know it sucks for those who originally were fans of the book, but I loved the changes they made. It allowed me to enjoy the books separate from the tv show because it was a totally new, exciting story. But the books definitely didn't have enough content for a show. Book 1 couldn't last 22 episodes.

Since watching it, I have read up to book 5. The mother confessor was the only one who wore white while all other confessors wore black, but in the show any confessors wore white. That fight scene made me think the show was paying homage to the book cause we got to see confessors dressed in black.

@CriticIsEveryone LMAO, i totally agree. I am obsessed with the books and this show does absolutely NO justice to it whatsoever. Kahlan, in my opinion, was a perfect choice looks wise, could of done a bit better with the acting, but so could the entire cast. Richard was the poorest choice EVER, tiny, whiney boy. Zedd was mediocore, Mordsith were a JOKE, and the soldiers were all so tiny. Im sad at Terry Goodkind, was a good idea to make a show, but the directing and producing were terrible. =(

@LadyRiffic lol agreed, especially about Richard lol They made Rahl's hair brown, though..if they couldn't even get that small tiny little detail right, what else could you expect from them lol This tv show is completely infuriating just because it could have been SOOOOO good but instead they came up with this garbage. My friend & i still think Peter Jackson would have done it right. A season to a book lol I like very much to pretend that this show never existed, it works nicely for me lol

@CriticIsEveryone it actually kind of boggles my mind how much they effed up with this. Pretty sure someone wrote a page summary of what the books were about and that's what they used as there base story line for the show because there is barely any correlation between books and show. Seriously whenever I watch an episode I'm mostly confused and then immediately pissed off lol I just don't understand how it's possible to do something this badly when your script has already been written lol

@Pontus900 Its television. Fantasy. It's not supposed to be taken seriously. Its all about great characters, great stories, and great adventures. Who wants to watch a show about a guy who gets up, goes to work, does a job he hates, than comes home and comments on youtube videos or watches tv. Most of the time real life is boring. So yeah, two hot chicks in make up beating the crap out of 20 guys is my idea of great entertainment. You can keep watching Bill O'reilly ;)

@Heligoland43 I just realized I basically repeated the same thing. I had meant to say they are thin: about the width of your pinky finger, and they are very long. I think they were described as being a foot in length. But yes, I never got it either. I think their dildo-like appearance in the show was what put some people off.

I love the electric guitar that they added to the fight music in the later episodes. Absolutely brilliant. Makes watching Kahlan and Cara rain a fire of badassery on their asses all the more enjoyable!

@Cepharim to add on to that. I would definitely have loved a movie series that closely followed the books. If they would have made movies they likely would have had to stop after the first one and not get into the imperial order because that doesnt conclude until the end and there is no way they would make 12 movies.

@Cepharim The difference in the two stories just shows what a great author Goodkind is that his writing could inspire a whole new story based on his characters and the world he created. I know it sucks for those who originally were fans of the book, but I loved the changes they made. It allowed me to enjoy the books separate from the tv show because it was a totally new, exciting story. But the books definitely didn't have enough content for a show. Book 1 couldn't last 22 episodes.

Another woman is using a sword that gives the user the ability and fighting experience of every person who has ever fought with the sword since it was forged. WHAT THE FRICK PART OF THAT DO YOU THINK COULD EVER HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE?! I don't know if you realize this but it's ALL fake. Even when the men do it. It's still ALL fake. Fight scenes are not real fights. They are FAKE.

@AZZA750 Your comment is confusing me. I was agreeing with you. When I first watched the Sacrifice fight scene, I loved it especially because most of the confessors were dressed in black. Since watching it, I have read up to book 5. The mother confessor was the only one who wore white while all other confessors wore black, but in the show any confessors wore white. That fight scene made me think the show was paying homage to the book cause we got to see confessors dressed in black.
