I think you were making a point, up until around 1:50 . Getting defensive will trigger more defensive reactions. You don't need to justify yourself or your hygienic practices, and what you've done is drawn undue attention away from your discussion and to your hair.

It's hard to beat the beast of insecurity, but it is a huge weight to lift from one's shoulders.

my dad loved me regardless, my mother went off her rocker and tried to kill me, people point and say nasty things, but im a better person because of it, i think for myself and dont let anyone ever take away my dignity...
