I see that you've been beat up about the weight on the back. Sorry to continue the beating, but that is clearly the cause of the accident. No weight over the front tires meant less traction for getting up the hill and loss of front braking ability. In some of your other videos, I saw the same weight problem when you were riding with one of your kids on the back. Hope you've corrected the problem before one of you does get hurt.
Remember... have fun and keep the rubber side down.
way way too much weight on the back should have put some of that stuff in the front tray instead of all on the back. quad was way to small to handle all that weight.
I was going to ripp on you for driving likc such a puss going up that 1st hill but that sucks sooo bad what happened to ur bike..... I thought it woulda been in a-lot worse shape but....... yikes. Never woulda happened on a 700 Grizz lol jk
that was a lot of weight on the back whey to much ,makes the quad unstable. Sorry to see that happen, good thing youre ok tho .did you get a new or used one.
The quad didn't look too bad concidering the fall. gotta love those ranchers. I have the same quad. I'm hoping to keep the rubber side down. Glad you are ok
thats one hell of a fall man, the four wheeler doesnt look like it was too badly damaged. and the lady who said "oh shoot" when the four wheeler took the fall..lol idk i kind of chuckled. i'd be yelling more then oh shoot.
we have a couple of these. my dad has a 2003 honda 300ex with alot of work done to it. its quick. he was goin up a hill on a trail he'd never been to before. full throttle. hit this thing that looked like the fucking rock of jabralter. rolled 6 times down a huge hill with him under it. he had tire marks on his chest. bike was bent in half. bent it back. no new parts. rode it back to camp and rode for an entire weekend after that. still own it. its a great bike
please that honda could start up and drive right out i've had three honda's for threee ears beaten the shit out of all of them and never once have they complained or broken at all
I just rolled my fourwheeler in a rut, It was my fault completely, I was getting used to going fast on the main road and i was doing about 10 down an offroad hill, and then before I knew it there was a rut and I was on the ground...scary experience.
Way too much weight on the rear of the quad.Less air in the tires will also help in the snow. Sorry for the loss but its a good thing no one was hurt.
Thats an expensive opps. If something looks out of my abilities or the abilities of the quad, i dont even try it. Have seen some bad outcomes from people i ride with trying to do stuff they knew they couldnt.
Actually, I think it was simply poor judgment that caused me to lose my machine--the weight alone wasn't the issue. I had the opportunity to stop and let my wife help me, but I kept trying to do it on my own. Lesson learned.
@IceColdTexan I agreed. Having a heavy load within the rack section isnt bad but extended is worst because there is nothing to support and balance. I mostly travel heavy but all of my stuffs were withing the rack and it still a little dangerous when tackle the hill, bank, and unbalance trail.

Bad idea with all that weight on the rear. Need to distribute the weight better. Expensive lesson.
