  • Sounds like Freddie Wong

    -no racism intended.

  • I have the same balance board

What brand is your balance board?

  • you can easily get injured by using this method ..

  • Whats your arm measurement and bodyfat? My guess is 18in pumped and 6 %? If thats what it is thats awsome man your still quite a bit ahead of me. Im at 16in pumped and about 9% bodyfat. Im 19yrs old though so hopefully I could get somewhere around where your at in the next couple of years. Im natural by the way like you. Been training consistent since i was 13yrs old

  • At first I was like, oh just some buff as trainer with 0 athletic ability or creativity, but now I'm impressed...where do I get that board??? I'm going to your website. Sweet video.

  • I do my upper body lifts while on a balance board. It's really fun actually.

  • please tell me im not the only one waiting for him to fall O.o

  • Question: wouldn't one be able to get the same results using a BOSU ball and have a LITTLE more stability? (Would also keep from having to purchase board as most gyms have a BOSU!)

  • dude if I did this at the gym i would BUST.. MY.. ASS!! LOL

  • lol wth is this xD just stick with the old 1 like other ppl do it any way every body got diff way 2 train

  • just you mate

  • Yeah I cleaned my comp so it's workin great now

  • Though this exercise may have its merits, I think there are better ways to improve stabilization for squatting. There are many different lunge variations that allow you to handle the weight in a way that is more practical to improve an asymmetrical squat while working on your stabilizers.

  • That is only my opinion though. That being said Tuan is pretty solid with his advice though.

  • good comment my friend, I have been doing many different variations of lungs, step ups, single leg squats and suit case deadlifts for many years now. So of course one should always do their uni-lateral movements to create balance and stabilzation. However, I have only started this year training on the board, and remember, its also about how much information you brain can send to the body to make the muscle work as hard as possible with the littlest amount of time to make it activate at 100%.

  • nice work tuan, i love ur videos and been a longtime subscriber.

i would shyt myself balancing on that !

  • thanks

  • holy cow wuta pro

  • And some people say bodybuilders aren't great athletes. Thanks for proving em wrong!!

  • nice man have u noticed one leg stronger than da other witch is why u decided to do this ?

  • that is one of the reasons, yes. but there are so many more reasons to do exercieses like these. just read the info on the top right and you will see

  • I forgot about these. Thanks Tuan.

  • Good advice Tuan. It's better than just doing single leg walking lunges for stabilizer muscles. I don't think we have one of those boards at my gym but I can try out the half ball. Ha Ha I didn't mind the shot at all... your excellent shape always motivates me to do better man!

  • no prob. glad I can help and I will try to keep the vids coming

  • quite informative, you have fitness and theories and science down to a form. Thank you for the continued advice.

    stay fit

  • weill do and thanks for the support

  • cool

  • Good job man keep them videos coming

  • thanks and will do

  • Hi Tuan. I love your vidoes. You're so strong!

  • i want one of those.

  • That looks really fun!

  • That is some stupid equipment...

  • and that my be your opinion, but here is what science has to say

It is used to develop balance, motor coordination skills, weight distribution and core strength; to prepare people, before and after [1] they reach old age, to avoid injurious falls in old age; to prevent sports injuries [2], especially to the ankle [3] and knee [4]; and for rehabilitation after injuries to several parts of the body.

  • Uses of a balance board that are distant from the athletic purpose of its origin have gradually become more common: to expand neural networks that enable the left and right hemispheres of the brain to communicate with each other, thereby increasing its efficiency; to develop sensory integration and cognitive skills in children with developmental disorders.

  • you should also put a click-able link to your fitness training in the description.

  • How do I do that? the click-able link?

  • hey you got it right there man. are you trying to make me look nutty? i swear i didn't see it before. now that makes it crazy easier for me to check your site out. thanks.

  • no prob. but if was your comment that made me do the research to find out how, so I would like to thank you for making me educate myself into how to do it

  • no doubt. bodybuilders and martial artist stick together. i know that link will make it much easier for people to sign up and get some real training. keep up the fantastic work man. i'll be posting boxing, karate and muay thai instructional vids in 2010. hopefully it will generate a positive following like you have.

  • To make dancers lighter on their feet; to teach singers optimal posture for the control of air-flow [5][6]; to teach musicians how to hold their instrument[7]; to look glamorous; to shake off writer's block and other inhibitors of creativity; as an accessory to yoga and as a form of yoga, cultivating holistic health, self-awareness and calm.

  • and to simulate shaolin workouts. i think they have great uses in martial arts as well. thank you for posting the vid man.

  • Nice
