You can put a completely aftermarket suspension on a civic and make it handle almost as good as a supercar. This one had some bottom end work done, look at how tight it is in the turns when it excels.

I may be a Honda fan, but I'm also a realist, and everyone knows that GT far exceeds the Civic in every aspect of performance. However, the simple fact is that the Civic, with it's FF layout and relatively low power, can be pushed very hard and remain stable, whereas the GT driver had to constantly worry about snap oversteer, power oversteer, violent bump steer, and crashing at higher speeds than the Civic, not to mention the cost of the car.
The owner in the GT is obviously underskilled in the cornering aspect because he/she is taking those corners way too soft and cautiously but im not knocking him cuz if I had a car like that I would be cautious as hell too

That GT isn't even pushing the car. The driver is just have a lacadasical stroll around the track at medium throttle. The poster of this vid took advantage of the fact the GT was just "strolling" around the track, made a claim about "overhearing" the GT brag, then posted this. I have video of Mustangs and Lotuses on my profile; they are just 'strolling', not even racing. Good video here; bad post description.
This was an advanced group session, but personally I do not believe the GT should have been allowed in that group. I think it is great that he is driving the car on track, but he definitely need to put his ego in check. Driving a Ford GT does not make you a Fort GT driver.
